Am I being blind as I can't see the use of 'your' in the message?

This is turning into Line Of Duty 'definately' isn't it.

What do you mean by that?

If you rearrange the letters, take away a few and add a few, you get 'I am the wolf'.

    Ok, I'm bored.

Afternoon Team, Apologies for the belated response, it's been a long day at work already. Not much going on in the village so far, doesn't make sense for the wolf to name themselves so hopefully will be an interesting afternoon ahead.

Counted up all 14 players have posted at least once. So we have no inactive players

Would make no sense for the seer not to post a message so chances are the message is from the seer.

Who knows where that leaves us.

    Second message:

    Greetings Villagers,
Looks like the wolf got impatient and posted first. With nothing to go on, randomly chosen is Harrow Orn. Harrow Orn is good.
Let's hope for better luck tomorrow.

It would be a wild and unfocussed tactic for the wolf to post first, name someone as GOOD and hope we lynch them, but it's pretty much pot luck else wise.

I suspect Ctulhu is probably good and that the first message is from our Seer. Poor us if we've got a seer who's got an inconsistent grasp of grammar.

OK, so this was posted whilst I was typing. This, again tells us nothing.

Scenario 1: Wolf has named Cthulhu as random good person to frame them and Harrow 'Orn is good (Ctulhu is therefore unknown)
scenario 2: Wolf has named Harrow as good and Cthulhu confirmed good by Seer. (Harrow is is therefore unknown)

Unlikely that a wolf would name themselves as GOOD on day 1.

Likelihood is that both Ctulhu and Harrow are both GOOD, though neither is 100% confirmed.

    Two Scenarios then:

    Scenario 1:

Message 1 is the seer, meaning Cthulhu is good. This would mean Message 2 is the wolf. Possibly they have randomly picked Harrow Orn (it'd be a bold move to announce themselves as good) and we don't know if he is good or evil.

    Scenario 2:

Message 1 is a wolf, meaning again, we have no idea if Cthulhu is good or evil, but we know Harrow Orn is therefore good.

So at least one of Cthulhu and Harrow Orn is on team good. We need to try and figure out which of the two is more likely to be good.

Are there any obvious reasons why a wolf would post first?

My hunch, based on little more than previous games, is that the early message is probably the seer.

There's been a lot made in previous games about seers needing to post early and it's mostly seasoned players in the game, so hopefully a seer who has chosen to get their finger out and view/post early.

If everyone has been posting during the day, it would make more sense for the wolf to wait before posting, just in case they needed their message to try and save themselves.

Again, this is all supposition and probability. It's still very possible that the messages are the other way around.

Killing either Cthulhu or Harrow doesn't even help us much, unless the wolf has been unfortunate enough to name an evil player as good.

If we kill Cthulhu and they are good, that doesn't necessarily mean message 1 is from the seer. Same applies if we kill Harrow.

Our only hope is we kill one and the wolf has picked an evil player, then we will know which message came from the seer.

Cassetti's Beard didn't post until just after 1pm. The message was posted by Dom about an hour later, which is probably about the time taken for him to notice the message and post it.

Possible that Cassetti sent the second message, making him my long odds favourite (odds of 9/1) for wolf at this stage.

This is a joke from Line of Duty in case anyone takes it as an accusation against Gags for being the wolf.

Unless he does turn out to be the wolf, in which case, I told you so.

Well as has already been said this doesn't really help us today. Someone is definitely good and someone is maybe good. Not sure why the wolf would post first but it is possible.

I mean maybe? But Daft Row didn't comment until later either by the same logic. Not sure there would be anything in that personally.
