Jansson at home in Sweden 22 May spoke to a reporter from a local paper . Of course he was hugely disappointed and thought Leeds deserved to play in the PL. Now he feels he wants a new challenge and would have liked to test himself in the Premier League. Knowing he has 3 years left on his contract he can't deny to think it would have been fun.
He might be open for offers.

    I miss GT.
All that was good about football.
I was desperately sad that he didn't see the build up of us going back to Wembley. Glad he (probably) didn't see the game.

This guy is pretending to be an ex agent on twitter. Anyone can make up what he just has about “news coming out of watford.” Janmaat, Okaka and Pereyra are obvious choices. You can tell he is lying as soon as Chalobah is mentioned. The club consider him our best player and with a full preseason under him, he is going to be like a new signing for us.

Add to the fact, he has no connection with ITKTim or ITKMing.

Can people with twitter go and troll this mug please, thanks.

I mentioned Rojo not very long ago, but it now seems that Utd only want £6mil for him. He might still question a move to us, and his wage would have to be level with our top earners, but he'd definitely be an upgrade on what we have. Would be preferable to an ageing Cahill anyway.

If we somehow get Pavon, while retaining Pereyra, he could join a little Argentinian cadre here as well.

He's not good enough if you're Man Utd, but he's still at least the same calibre of player as say Doucoure or Pereyra, and would comfortably be our best CB.

Man U are no great aspiration these days! Anyone behind Smalling and Jones in the pecking order should seriously re-evaluate their career path.

I was gonna post again that if Mings is available he really would be a very good signing. But then he just got injured again. Dunno if it's that serious, the only question mark against him is if he's still a bit of a sick note.

I'd thought Tomori looked decent in the semis, but he was calamitous today. I'd swerve.

Was walking freely at F/T. Think it was a case of cramp setting in on a knee that has had major surgery not so long ago.

Stuttgart about to be raided. I hope we are in for some of the players.

    Would definitely take

    Kabak
    Kempf
    Baumgartl
    Gonzalez
    Ascacibar
    Maffeo

Pavard will be joining a top club as well.

Pavard already joining Munich. Heavily rumoured Kabak is only at Stuttgart to facilitate Munich getting him too. Relegation will likely speed that up but he may go on loan.

Gonzalez is decent but very unproven.
Ascaibar would be a great signing.
The rest wouldn’t improve our squad beyond what we already have.

My wife is a Stuttgart native so we follow them with interest, and take in quite a few games a season.

Kempf and Baumgartl would improve our defence. Better than what we have from what I’ve seen of them. Would much rather them than Mapps. Would you not agree with that?

The bundesliga is shown on tv in the states every weekend and when I’ve watched them, they have seemed decent.

At least Tomori didn't score an own goal like he had every other time I've seen him!

Conceded an average of 2 goals a game in the league, what's up with that? Have they had absolutely no protection from the midfield or is that just a damning indictment on our defence?

3 head coaches in less than a year and a half (Jan 2018, oct 2018 & April 2019) has had a major impact. Each head coach had his favourites and bought players in over three windows (Jan 2018, Summer 2018 & Jan 2019). So lots of mix and match of players, so no surprise they have been relegated today. Doesn’t make them bad players, just had terrible management.

Perfect time for a club like us to swoop in. However we won’t because outside of Prodl I don’t remember us signing another player from the Bundesliga.

As I posted in the Kabak thread, he looks small for a CB, similar to Mariappa but without the prodigious leap. A lot of his defending was very erratic and lacking in composure, and Badstuber had to more often than not clean up. I'd swerve.

Gonzalez looked largely ineffective, and also cost his team the match by stupidly and unnecessarily standing in an offside position for a free-kick which they scored from.

Ascacibar is a good player, I agree, though his disciplinary record would make Holebas blush.

Don't know enough about the other three.

Watching the Argentina vs Portugal u20 game, which the Argies won 2-0, and there were a number of impressive players on show. Pretty much all of Portugal's players are already at major clubs, but there were a few Argentina players that seemed very promising that aren't even at River Plate or Boca.

First main stand-out was Anibal Moreno, a 20 year-old central midfield player currently at Newell's Old Boys. He's been recently linked with a $15mil transfer to River, but I reckon he's not far off being able to play regularly in a top European league. Very solid all-round midfielder, good tackler, composed, very good long passing, dynamic going forwards with and without the ball, good shooting technique (he hit the post with one 30 yard hit). Obviously not at the same level, but seemed a Kroos-style player. Could turn in to a good Capoue replacement in a season or two.

Second stand-out was their big number 9, Adolfo Gaich, 20 year-old at San Lorenzo. Scored one of their goals, and looked to have everything necessary for a lead the line striker. Good in the air, strong, surprisingly quick for a big man, and good shooting technique. Seemed in the mould of someone like Rondon. Could give Troy a run for his money at some point, although I reckon he'd be a bit too much of a risky signing for a club like ours where we'd have less room to give him game time, especially if we get Joao Pedro. He should definitely get a move to Europe though.

The goalkeeper Rofro, right-winger Alvarez, and number 10 Barco, also looked good, though they play for Boca, River and Atlanta Utd ($15mil transfer) respectively, so may already cost too much to be worthwhile.

When he left L*t*n I assumed that was the end of his career, but apparently he's played well over 100 games for Tranmere since then!

And they have been flying up the leagues ever since!

Probably just bounces off the strikers and unlike in the Premier league said forward just gets on with it and doesn't moan.
