[NOT HAPPENING] Aaron Mooy

I'm hoping we are aiming a bit higher than this.

 

We are favourites to sign him according to the betting market. Wouldn’t mind us signing him at all, would be a great squad player to have. If we can sign him for £10mil or less, then I wouldn’t be upset.

Still, this has to after we’ve strengthened at the back.

 

If he's a squad player, then I'd be happy with that. One of the main reasons Huddersfield struggled last season is because he was missing for so long and is their only real PL level player. Takes a mean set piece as well.

If he is required to be a Doucoure replacement then I'd be concerned.

 

Kath and Kim told us years ago we should look at Mooy.

 

None of our Aussies have really worked out since the Curse of Richard Johnson took effect.

 

I dunno, Prodl had a couple of decent seasons.

 

Doesn't have the necessary pace to play in the Prem. No thanks.

Football was a different game 15+ years ago. You could get by without hair and still look like a decent player. Not anymore though. Different game now, with no room for those without hair. There’s not a single top-flight player worth his salt who doesn’t have at least a decent head of hair.

 

Would be an uninspiring and highly disappointing signing. We need to be doing better than this in the transfer market.
