    So, everyone, stay with me.

After the dismal outcome of the West Ham Game, I literally could see no way we could win tomorrow.

Turns out I just wasn't trying hard enough. I've convinced myself that history will be made, against all odds.

We're due an upset, Man City are due to lose, we're due a result against them, we've been playing in 2nd gear since the semi, saving ourselves for one, Spartan effort in the final, City are burned out from maintaining their levels to stay ahead of Liverpool, they're beatable.

    I'm utterly convinced.

I use this tune for my own little ditty, when it's the middle of the night and I can't sleep because of the need to pee, I stagger to the bathroom, feeling my way as i dont want to turn a light on, then sit down, so I don't pee on the floor (we don't have a pee catcher) and sing 'woahoooahooahoahoahoahoahoah having a pee in the dark'

The probability of man city losing a cup to wigan was astronomically small. Likewise the probability of them losing a cup final to watford. The probability of them losing 2 cup finals in a row to two such non-entities is infinitesimal.

    We have no hope.

The important thing was not to peak too soon in terms of expectation. Now we are 30 hours from kick off we can embrace the fact that we might win and contemplate what it would feel like if we did. Unimaginable euphoria and incredible scenes of pure joy. Something few of us thought we would ever see in our lifetimes.

Quite. I feel cheated that we have to play City in the final - all that work to get to the final for the first time in 35 years and then we play the most expensive team ever assembled. I appreciate that cup competitions are all about random opponents, but it's basically not fair.

Why put the Leicester game in there, surely the winner against Wolves would make more sense

Why bringing the Cup BACK to Herts?

Did Stevenage win it at some stage?

    That’s my biggest fear.
    What is the record?
I think City will go for it and we know how readily we fold once 3 or more go past us.
    I reckon 6-0 to them

Of course not. We have maybe a 1 in 20 chance of winning ?
    Bear this in mind.
We had a good season yet they finished 48 points above us.....48 !!!!
They finished only 2 points short of getting double our points tally.
The points gap between us and them is exactly 3 times the size of the gap between us and the relegation zone.
That puts the size of the task into perspective.
