I personally think 1 week is enough for spoilers. If someone is that upset over reading spoilers from 2 weeks back then watch the bl**dy thing.

I've watched it again and the reason he looks around seems to be due to a "gust of wind" that moves his hair - I assume this is Arya going past somehow invisible thanks to ninja skills

So Daenerys, 100 feet up in the air, on a clear day, couldn't see the ships?

They were hiding behind that large moon, Captain. The sensors were totally blind.

    Whoops, wrong show.

Optometrists were surely lacking in Westeros. Unless GRRM was planning to add, yet another, mine character stream in his magnum opus:
"Oh Khaleesi, Queen of Dragons and rightful Heir to the Iron Throne - is is clearer with this lens or without..."

Wow. That was spectacular from start to finish tonight. Excellent aside from the Jaime/Cersei conclusion, which was utter ********.

Massive body count tonight as far as named characters goes!

Spectacular but it went down the **** it let's blow up stuff route because of some bells. This season jumped the shark last week. It came back round and burned it this week!

    Disappointed with that episode.

    Bad:
    Golden Company...what was the point?
    Jaimie & Cersei - unsatisfying
Danaerys - too quick a flip to madness
    Clegane Bowl - unsatisfying

    Good:
The massacre - confusion, fear, conflict
    Jaimie & Tyrion - heartfelt

S1 E1: Jaime's character arc starts after he throws Bran out of the window.

S8 E5: Jaime's character arc ends after the writers throw his character progression out of the window.

I also hated the Jaime and Euron bit too.

Apart from that though I really enjoyed the episode.

I've been a massive GOT fan over the past years and it *was* a masterpiece... Until this season. All of it seems to be a massive anti-climax. Cersei was developed into a completely delusional div, Daenerys has turned into a bitchy so and so who dislikes everyone apart from Greyworm and Snow...

Vary's, a cunning tactician and ****-sterer, of whom has spent his years surviving multiple kings who were complete nutcases has decided that he's now going to openly denounce Danaerys because he pefers Jon Snow.

They've decided that Bronn just hates everyone now, if it gets him his big castle... His character is way off the one it was a few seasons back when he was Tyrion and Jaime's "minder"

Ughhh.. I wish I could write about all of the characters but in short, none of them seem to be the same as they were in previous seasons... Whether that's because they've changed due to the scenario? Doubt it, it's just poor script writing.

That was one of the greatest moments in Game Of Thrones - SUPERB scene, emotional and actually shocking. The "big" scenes this season haven't had that much shock value and it's sad to see

I don't know how to do spoilers so I will try and pose a question without giving anything away: -

Could it be that the Jamie/Cersie thing from the latest episode might not be what it seems?

I thought that was a good episode tbf minus the actual story. Dany's descent to madness has always been hinted at with her burning people every season. It's almost Breaking Bad levels of villainy. The issue that I have though with her becoming the big bad was that it was just too sudden. She goes from killing one person to massacring thousands against reason and logic.

Cersei's potential demise was crap, I see that they tried to play it as a metaphor, her world came crashing down on top of her, but being in Jamie's arms just felt a bit of a letdown. I was hoping it was Arya wearing Jamie's face to deliver the telling blow rather than a brick. It was an opportunity wasted.

Cleganebowl was class as was the Arya arc. The Tyrion thing didn't sit right with me it felt a bit rushed. It would have really benefitted for a political filler episode between this episode and the last just so that everything made sense a bit more.

Unfortunately I can see the final episode going only one way.

No. They're as dead as Prodl's Watford career. To have her survive would just be plot armour - the final episode will be about the fallout of Dany's actions.
