Not especially. Although I was one of the few people who saw this coming. Barca were so vulnerable last week, 3-0 was a daft score. So i lumped on them to win the CL after the final whistle. £20 at 19/1 - I may be miserable but Liverpool's win will pay for itself as far as the amount of alcohol I will need to consume to dull the pain is concerned.

Sky have just given an alphabetical scores update on a band at the bottom of the screen.

It vanished after the Tottenham score.

Let's all have a drink fellas

(Dont worry about your score today, it means nothing. Next week is what it's all about)

Us two will piss all over this league next year, it’s ****. Liverpool to drop off massively and big cracks developing in the 3rd to 6th placed teams. Just need someone to come and give the whole structure a good, firm kick. Wolves are ****, Everton have never achieved anything, West Ham the same. Leicester and Watford occupying 4th, 5th or 6th next season.

Didn't the 'big 6' have a crisis meeting when you lot won the league to make sure that a team that's not one of them never gets in the top 6 again?

Cardiff go down by 2 points - surprised Warnock hasn't been blaming that Chelsea game where they were in front and lose after Chelsea scored an offside goal.

And you think Jamie Vardy and Troy Deeney have any respect for what the ‘big 6’ want?

With Hughton sacked Brighton are right now surely favourites for relegation next year. Of course it depends who gets the job and how they recruit during the summer.

They’ve got a decent set up behind the scenes, but finished the season on 36 points.

They’d have gone down nearly any other season.

Of course it depends on the replacement, but they’ll likely be better off next year for sacking him.

You have posted exactly what everyone from the outside thinks about out policy of sacking managers.
Nice bloke but boring, negative style of football and overall downward trend of results.
Await from the media the race ,Brighton were lucky to have him and where do Brighton think they should finish cone from so called pundits and fans alike.
    Good decision in my view

I think they under-performed. Hughton seems to have winning promotion nailed but they went backwards a bit this year.

    Warnock did excellently.

    Manager of the Season.

You misunderstand. I didn’t say it was the wrong decision to sack him. My point was that they survived with a low points total and a tired and fairly elderly squad that fitted Hughton’s style. The new manager needs to be a) good and b) prepared to make major changes, otherwise they are likely to be on the way down.

Apart from Murray they haven't really got a goalscorer but their defence is petty good so a decent base for a new manager to work from .

Would have gone had he stayed. Not so sure now as it will depend on the replacement. Pardew could do a job.

Second oldest team in the league, behind us of course. Foster and Holebas really upping our stats in the age department! D6cXBnaW0AA2nNz.png

    Exactly.

If someone had asked ‘And what about the vegetables?’, Ben would have thought it a reference to our elite defensive unit.

You are almost better off trying to win the cups than being fully competitive in the league but even that is unlikely with the money around the top teams.

Yes but the Championship is getting better and better. Really good promotion and relegation battles with very few teams relegated from the prem going straight back up. Oh for the chance to be back there.....

Lampard will ofcourse get time and support form the Chelsea fans but how long will the board give him?

Suspect they will still expect top 4 and some sort of cup run...

looks like Manchester United are actually willing to meet Leicester’s asking price for Maguire, north of £70 million.

What’s stronger than ROFL? PMSL maybe? Megalolz?

Their defence would be improved, but 70m is crazy. They practically gave away Evans who is just as good.

Aren't you worried that you'll do a Spurs and struggle to replace him?
