A couple of years before the play offs started and the season was still going, we were leaving White Hart Lane 34 years ago having won 5-1 when the news of this broke.

56 people went to a game and never came home-i won't post any of the video's as they are too horrific.

A total tragedy that is hardly mentioned so i thought i would do so for fellow football fans who lost their lives.

I'm pretty sure Aidy Boothroyd said he was there, or actually in the stand at the time.

I often wonder how many would be trapped if there was a fire in the Rookery.

If you’re in the last 10 rows, it takes 10-15 mins to get out.

Lincoln City, the visitors that day, usually have a supporters flag displayed remembering the 56.

They also named one of their stands after 2 of the 56 who were Lincoln fans-Stacey-West stand

    Bump

Such a sad day for football fans who went to a match and didn't come home

Seen a few videos around of it.

Really tragic and puts everything into perspective.

I'm not going to search for them as I'm not such a tasteless buffoon to publish them - but I've actually seen them quite a few times as they're frequently used in fire marshal (safety) videos. The one with a stopwatch (I think it was a police video) is harrowing.
