GOTS and POTS

Has to be deulofeu in the Cup SF. Honourable mention to BobbyP vs Chelsea and Brighton.

Capoue hands down POTS. Our most consistent player. Holebas 2nd, ahead of Foster.

YPOTS Quina (the only youngster who has played this season isn't he?)

We must have used hardly any players this season, compared to others?

No obvious boo-boy's which is strange!

 

So much that he's building a defensive wall to keep him out...

GOTS - Delofeu 1st re Wolves

Fair to say we don't really do scruffy goals

 

That was my favourite that match. The build up that made it special.

As much as I would like Holebas to win POS, because IMO he was robbed of it a couple of seasons ago purely down to his unfair unpopularity. Unfortunately I have had to change my mind because I think Capoue has just about edged him out, as he has had a absolutely brilliant season.

 

Why do we seem to have stopped trying the worldies and seem to be intent on walking it in Wenger style?

 

What about BBOTS?

My boo boy of the season has got to be Ken , with Massina a close second .

 

Capoue and Deulofeu at Wembley.

In other seasons there has been room for different opinions/interpretations. This season it’s genuinely a case of that being right and all other votes being wrong.

 

I agree. Capoue and Deulofeu. There has been some great contenders for both, but these two deserve the awards for me.

 

They're really not bad, though, are they? A bit of the journeyman about each of them but they're not Mario Suarez nor Jerome Sinclair.

 

Was going to vote Foster for POTS.... But at the last minute after family debate went Deulofeu, just for the entertainment value and skill when he's on song.

GOTS has got to be the trickiest decison ever but GD at Wembley first goal was sensational, ridiculous, cheeky, sublime and world class. Has to be this one.

 

POTS - Holebas. The amount of abuse I have given him on here is as far as the east is from the west. He has absolutely turned it around this season and has been vital to our defence. We have missed him every time he hasn’t played. Capoue deserves it as well, but i voted for Holebas purely because of my dislike for him last season and how I now never want him gone.

GOTS - Gray vs Burnley. While Deulofeu’s goal was class and vital, Gray’s goal was a thing of beauty. If Barca/Messi scored that, it would have been on repeat for 48hrs on Sky Sports. A wonderful team goal that deserves more of a mention.

 

PotS: Capoue
GotS: Pereyra vs Chelsea. It takes outrageous technique to make such an incredible goal look so easy.

 

GD at Wembley, Capoue.

 

PotS: Capoue. Immense pretty much every week.

GotS: Here's hoping it arrives in the Final.
Faiing that, I'd forgotten about that Gray goal at Burnley until Marko's post, it was indeed a thing of beauty and I'll have to go for it. Also, honorable mention to GD vs Huddersfield at home last year. I know it was only Huddersfield, but excellent dribble and top finish from a tight angle.

This thread should really have had a poll for the PotS vote btw.

 

I think I will probably change my GoTS vote to Troy's third this afternoon. Beautiful goal.

 

No, I will stick with GD's effort at the SF.
