I really hope any unsold tickets we don't sell are given away to schools like the semi. It's be such a shame for us to not sell out because of the price which, when you consider we've sold less tickets than the semi (with no figures to back that up) is clearly what's happened

Evening all! I am not a Watford fan but here in peace to surprise 2 of my friends so be kind! A very close friend of mine sadly lost their life long (70 hornet) fan just under a year or so ago. In his memory they went to two league games this season (they are fans too) but sadly both tickets were gifts from friends and were borrowed season tickets for one game and the other not a reference in their name. Just need a little help as I’m confused about the breakdown on the official website for Watford on the category breakdown and also having a browse through the forum it appears some feel that the tickets may not sell out. Do you know at all if they will go on general sale (should they not sell by the date reached of the last category)? Long and short of it is me and few pals are trying to get our two friends a couple of tickets for this (long shot I know) purely for how much it would mean to them and to their grandad and his memory. I’ve browsed elsewhere online and the prices are ridiculous (and disgusting stopping real supports going) and on the flip side I just cannot trust 3rd party sites (found out the hard way in the past!). Any info or help would be great. Wish you all the best come the 18th. I’ll be cheering you boys on to life the trophy. A win for Watford that day is a win for football!
Official line so far has been that they wont go genera sale, there is still two phases to go to watford fans, and if youve ever bought a ticket (or know someone that has) then that is the last phase... and i think its fair to say universal disgust at the prices abounds!

Why are the 2 grandchildren not watford fans? Team loyalty should be passed down through the generations, yet these two spoilt little brats saw fit to choose a different team? Let me guess, arsenal? man utd? chelsea? Why on earth would we want a couple of glory hunters in amongst us in our biggest game in decades? It would have meant a hell of a lot more to him if they'd bothered to go with him to a match while he was still alive. You can get tickets for West Ham at home quite easily. Probably mean a lot to your Watford supporting friend to see the last game of a great season.

No malice in what I said, was just offering an alternative. You'll struggle to get cup final tickets without a fan ID, probably best to put a tweet or two out and join a few facebook groups and see if anyone have a couple spare fan ID, much larger audience than here and there may even be spare tickets available for sale.

The opposite. More and more people are sending their tickets back. Last time I looked there are about 7k left now.
