There are fewer more embarrassing sights than a 50 year old football hooligan.

Wolves seem to have a fair few of them. That's big club syndrome for you.

    MADNESS! THIS IS WATFORD!!!!!

You make it sound as if we were rolled over by both when we weren’t. So yeah I do think we can beat Chelsea.

Based on performances against the big six this season, results haven’t been justified at all. We deserved a lot more points against them than what we have taken. So can we go to Stamford bridge and win, yes we can.

Just the same that wolves have been very mediocre against teams outside the top 6, no reason to think that’s all of a sudden going to change. So can Fulham beat them yes they can, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they did.

We moan every season about not being mathematically safe, even though the chances of us being relegated are less than 20%. However all of a sudden we are not mathematically out of 7th but it’s over?

We still have a chance of 7th, it’s a slim chance but it could happen.

If Fulham take a point or all three next Saturday against wolves, the belief will increase again.

Like others I am more peed off and low about a football match than I have been for some time. The gap between the 6th round and the semi-final was so quick. I wish the final had been 2 weeks after the semi, and that we'd got it out of the way without all this never ending build up. And. 'I'm Still Standing' just kills the atmosphere. Is this the source of the curse that has led to missing Deeney at such a crucial moment - I don't blame him, I don't really blame the ref - I think it's all part of the comedy of errors. A series of silly mistakes that have come along at more or less the same time. And, maybe it's partly due to tiredness and exhaustion creeping in. I'm sure we've all made mistakes at work when we've needed a break. Not so much errors, maybe just misjudgements due to good players and a good manager just not quite having the mental stamina to keep it going without an occasional lapse in a really tough league in which we have really competed with commitment. Thought Southampton were actually better than Wolves. Wolves were so lucky today. As that great philosopher Roy Hodgson once said 'football is not about justice or fairness. it is what it is'.

The wolves fan sounded like he had learning difficulties tbh. Fantastic support? Barely made a murmur today unless they were winning

If I understand you correctly, you are seriously suggesting that playing a different song when the players come out led to the ref making a laughable decision to send Deeney off against Arsenal and the comedy behaviour of our defence, our goalkeeper and our coach?

    Special fans.

Even with mistakes happening per game lately I don’t think we are ready for Europe yet. It will be great if we if we win the cup but the team needs big investment to step up and even maintain our current position next season. Deeney is a huge miss and we have no suitable forward options to replace with. Deulofeu, Pereyra & Gray don’t even bother trying to win headers it’s pathetic. As for centre backs we have been crying out for new recruits here for years. Kabasele is a joke footballer a complete liability. He will have one decent game then it all goes to ****. This season has been a success even if we don’t win the cup but I want us to push on season after season. Next season will be very interesting to see exactly what direction she club is moving, whether we push on or just try to avoid relegation.

Because he was being bias about his own team?

Probably more likely to be a loud mouth who comes out of the woodwork when they win.

His main arguments seemed to be about empty seats - well we haven't got the big support they have.

And bet the Molly had a few before the Chinese came...

I'm usually very down after a defeat but today, unlike most,I'm not too bad.
It seemed an even game but as others have said WW seemed more committed and I too cannot help think some of our team have one eye on Wembley.
Not Capoue however,he seems to have grown a third lung, certainly POTS for me.
It's hard to understand why Hughes was subbed,we stumbled thereafter but as much as Foster was on some sort of bungee jump,Kiko seemed to lose his man.
RP yet again seemed lightweight and was at fault for the first goal. As talented as he is perhaps it is time to sell?
Gravy does seem to be pick and mixing the defence and this again made us look quite disjointed at times.
Lots of police before the game it appeared.

Plato understood the science of music. That's why he was put in charge of the pre-match music in ancient Athens.

I find the most disappointing thing about Penguin biscuits is that the different colour wrappings don’t reward you with a different flavour.

The majority of players have improved under Javi but I’d like to highlight three that I think haven’t. Firstly, Kabasele, an absolute liability, he got away with conceding a penalty today, another ref would have given that. I don’t know what it is about him, it’s like he plays stoned out of his skull. The other week against Arsenal when we were down to ten men, he trotted off to change his footwear. Who remembers Bournemouth a couple of years ago when he decided to lie down in the penalty area? He obviously unsettles players around him, I think foster came for that ball because he had no confidence in Kabby the clown.
Success is another to have shown no progress. Powerful and quick yet offers nothing, would rather fall on his arse than beat his man. An impact sub with no impact.
Lastly, and a bit more controversially, I think Kiko hasn’t improved on last seaso. I’ve noticed more often than not, he gets the wrong side of his marker, on many occasions he ball watches. His strength is going forward yet his crossing is more miss than hit, I think Janmaart is more reliable.
On a plus note, special mention to Capoue, the only player to give a **** today. Too many other Watford players pulling out of challenges already so not to get injured for the final. Capoue player of the season by a country mile

    Essentially yes.

We sold 13,700 tonnes of Penguin one year.

At least Luton are having a major wobble. Lost again today after leading. Could have been promoted as champions if they'd won, but still not yet promoted. Other teams are catching them up...

I agree that wolves were not all that. Pretty perplexed how that was not a draw. To me, it seems that the team have given it their all over the season and have somehow just tired at the last push. If that's down to the absence of Deeney or not, not sure. Thing is, I did not come away from that game feeling that upset or pisssd off, just slighy annoyed. I wonder if that's to do with the semi final game and getting to the final?

    Just home after fish'n'chip supper.
    That was cold and depressing.
    Capoue excellent - great clearance
GD at his least effective (what was the spat with our supporters about ? - many of his team mates came over to give him a pat on the back / reassurance after that).
Clueless without an effective focal point up front - Success really might as well have stayed on the bench.
How can 9 degrees feel so cold ?
Mobile reception rubbish so almost no shoutbox - just me ?
Great season but unrealistic expectations - we don't have the 7th best players in this league.
At least L**** lost again and are still on track for one of the most amazing collapses.

    Kiko is iffy defensively.

Gives the impression that he has always been able to compensate for poor positioning through his pace.

This doesn’t work when the winger is as quick as you.

Agreed about Kiko. There is only player who worse at defensive positioning and that s Massina.

Kiko is a Terrible defender , superb technician, but little or no end product .

Wolves Raj sounded like he was on something.

Kept repeating that Watford is not a proper football club.

    Our lad a bit nonplussed.

Not unrealistic at all from where we were just 4 games ago, but Watford have a habit of choking. They play the occasion too much, and **** up. Too many players have been nervous on the ball and silly mistakes have cost us 7th. Had we remained cool and in the moment, we'd have finished 7th.

A change of that magnitude is disorientating, discombobulating.

    Howard Webb would have struggled.
