Not usually a fan or even bother listening but it was somewhat fun to hear Cundy and Goldstein rip a Wolves fan a new one on the sports bar on the way home last night.

So Spurs, Brighton, Watford and Southampton played and the first caller was a Wolves fan saying there is no place for Brighton’s anti-football in the “Premiership” (kept getting corrected by Goldstein and kept getting it wrong).

In summary Cundy essentially said it was a bit ripe for a supporter of a team who had been in the Premier League “for 5 minutes” to slag another team off, that it’d be easier if they had millions to spend and connections Wolves have and were not fighting a relegation battle where one point may be enough and that the caller was just butt-hurt his team couldn’t beat them at the weekend.

Summed up the subject of this thread and shot down beautifully.

Yes the WW fan did go very quiet when it was pointed out that he was just peeved as BHA had managed a point on Saturday.
JC also said that BHA had not played that way earlier in the season, which I think is a fair point.

They certainly did play better football earlier in the season.

Forgot they also mentioned Wolves parked the bus a few weeks back and the caller said “we were playing Arsenal away” which caused great amusement as they reminded him Brighton had just played Spurs. Clearly he was just thinking about their game against them.

Wolves supporters seem to me to fall fairly distinctly into two factions: The foul-mouthed louts who hate everybody (and certainly come across as entitled) and a large number of perfectly reasonable commentators. I suppose you might say that about most teams' supporters, but it keeps striking me as being particularly noticeable with the Wolves lot.

Apparently the semi-final and their loss to Leicester on penalties don't count as they weren't in normal time. What a reach.

Brighton have certainly suffered a Watfordian collapse of late.

    Small squad, long season?

    Good luck to them!

The post is clearly in good humour and to be honest, why should they fear any top 6 team!
