Wolves weird manager stormed out of the press conference today after yet another defeat. It would appear we've broken them. LOL
It sounded like someone asked him about the fact they've lost their last 5 away games. Perfectly reasonable question really, especially considering they've lost to the likes of Huddersfield. Fantastic to see their bubble burst. I didn't realise what a one dimensional manager he was.
Exactly. He is not Klopp, he’s the calm, cool, considered chap. If you’re this type & you lose it, you lose the weaker team members very quickly.
Having watched that,it's quite odd. He's very measured and objective and then...less so. It wasn't as if he was building up to a rant or frothing at the mouth like Keggy Keegle or Kolin err Colin.
I thought the same, he was obviously making an effort to appear calm and measured and nearly fooled everyone in to believing the act
Bad week for Wolves fans - their season ticket prices have gone up 15% next season. Guess its to pay for the masked man they've just paid 30 million for...
He saw the 3 minute time was up (isn't that the minimum to avoid a fine) and legged it. Better that than start crying or kicking water bottles around...
I don't know if anybody could make out what that last question was, I couldn't. But Espirito Santo allowed himself to show contempt rather than anger. Not much difference, I'd agree. But are the journos after the exact truth or a story? They now know, if they didn't already, that if you needle him you might well get your story. Expect more of the same next interview, Nuno. I half think my sympathy is with him. But I suppose he's paid a lot and the post-match interview crap is part of the job and he is not managing Man City so he must get used to losing some matches . But we get enough irritation out of football 'experts' ourselves on this forum so probably not many charitable thoughts go through any coach's mind when they have to deal with journeyman hacks.
The most amusing bit is how many of the Wolves fans seem to think he comes out of it looking good. None so blind as (s)he who will not see.
Good man or no, massively overreacting to half of a question and storming out of the room doesn't paint a picture of a man in control of the situation.
Don’t even understand why he got so upset. It was a fair question by the journalist asking him about their away form and how it’s 5 without a win.
Would love to turn that lot over at the Vic. When was the last time we beat a team at 3 different venues in one season?
Didn't we do it to newcastle a couple of years ago? Edit oh wait, didn't see the different venues bit.
