Anyone Cat A unable to go to the final please private message me on here, I need 2 tickets for two genuine long term fans.

I know this is a long shot, but if you can't go why not help a fellow Hornet out, thank you in advance.

Cat B would also work alongside Cat A. It's impossible for it to sell out whilst at Cat B, so if you're Cat A then you can just wait an extra day and get the tickets together.

Hope they replace the prawns in my sandwiches with caviar seeing as it’s the final this time.

For info I’ll be the chap in the Green Man pre match with a top hat and monocle on.

If ever there was a 1:20 game this is it and those are our odds. Anything short of that bet on city even if it’s 1/4

Unfortunately 2019 less 6 is 2013 so looks like he's out of luck ! When I buy can I buy and allocate a ticket to him even though he's rated lower down the pecking order ? I guess not.

Why can he only get a higher tier ticket? and no i dont think you can. I thinks its totally separate entrances/exits. Maybe he could bring a rope?

Let me explain why we are putting out this request.

We were Cat A for many years as me and my son were season ticket holders even when we both lived in Cornwall for many of those years, but for family reasons, which I will gladly explain in a private message, we gave up our ST's about 3 years ago.

Since then we have not bought tickets to many games, and those games we have been to, mainly friends of ours have bought the tickets for us through their ticket status, we have bought very few through our own fan Id's.

We did manage to go to the SF, again with the help of friends, but we might be struggling for the final, hence our general shout out on here.

I assure you we are not "Johnny come Lateleys" who are trying it on, we are genuine Hornet fans who used to travel to many away game too over the years, but we have tailed off over the last few years, for reasons I will explain privately if you feel inclined to help us out.

A lot of you on here probably know me personally and know I am speaking the truth, so please help us out if you can.

    Thanks in advance Jim VoR

Correct, you won't be allowed to move between tiers (I once tried at an England game).

I worked at wembley for a number of years.

    There are two ways;

The first method risks serious injury but is 100% guaranteed to get you in the lower tier. PM me for the best place to jump.

The second method involves a secret passageway and circumventing security via switching off the stadiums 4 core reactors, then firing a proton torpedo into the exhaust port. It's a little tricky but use the force, it's with us after that semi final.

If you were season tickets in last 3 years, dont all the matches you were ST for go on your ids? So you should be cat A for home hopefully?

Checked mine & boys I.D one is cat c one is cat d so need to scrounge a cat c as no way will it go past that cat c group. To be fair the club has got the ticket distribution spot on this time. As long distance part timers we may struggle

P.s any cat c I'd going let me know.

I think if you've had a season ticket in past 3 years you'll automatically be home A?

Group A – 4,811 fans (a previous season ticket since 2014/15 counts as multiple purchases)
    - Supporters with 25 or more home match ticket purchases under Fan ID record since July 2014
(and NOT a current 2017/18 season ticket holder)

I think my son is cat C, is the general feeling that he should get one as I will then wait to get my ticket at the same time. If this all goes **** up I’m spending a fortune with the touts!

If you are catagory A you should see if you can buy his with you at the beggining. If system doesn't allow you to do that then wait if you decide it's the thing to do.

    From the WFC site:

'Ticketmaster will concentrate on overseeing the web-based sales. We expect they will deliver all of our supporters a first-class online buying experience.'

A message to Watford fans or a warning to Ticketsheister? I expect them to be as crap as they've always been and no improvement on the semi. There's no booking fees apparently. Well 'woop-de-*******-woo'. They'll still be lining their pockets with a big slice of the extortionate prices being charged by Wembley.

1984: Standing ticket behind the goal: £5
2019: Seated ticket (but standing, in reality) in the same place behind the goal: £145

A near 3,000% mark up. I can't think of anything else that has that sort of official mark up in 35 years? Capitalist rip-off Britain at its fat-cat finest.

I think the biggest thing that would help is if 13500 season ticket holders don't all pile in at 9am on Day 1. You're guaranteed a ticket and have several days to get it.

There's no Cat 1 behind the goal. So it's a (very marginally better) £115 instead.

Think the touts and spending far too much is likely to be my main option.
Flights and hotel booked so that's 2 out of 3 so far .

I had hoped that the club would dump ticket shyster and keep it in house ,as there is more time to sort things out than there was for the semis.

  27. You should be Home Cat B if you had a ST for the 14/15 season. (Home B is 10-24 home games, Home A is 25 or more home games since 2014, and STs count, so if you also had a 15/16 ST you should be Home A). Either way you would be in Cup group B, so you are pretty sure to be OK. My daughter who has been at Uni the last 2 years is Cat A.

I think they have as much as they can - by dealing with all the fan groups and disabled fans directly, handling distribution of the tickets and taking all the phone calls. And then not charging a booking fees. I don't suppose there's any easy way to build a bespoke online ticketing system (or switch to a rival) in the timeframe available so there always going to be some involvement by Ticketmaster.

I know it is unlikely but anyone with a spare kids ST not using for final please dm me. I have an adult(had one since dog track days etc) but my daughter on waiting list. She has an ID, does not miss a home game so now in situation where I can either get a ticket just for me or have to wait till round two and probably sit up in the gods.

Can see why club has done it but hoped it would be season ticket plus 1(if Cat A Home)

Any unlikely help greatly appreciated and rewarded:)

I expect there will still be a fair few lower tier seats left once sales open to the second group. Probably mostly Cat 1 ones though.

I think this is numbers, still seems suspicious the way the previous groups add up to the next number, but think this what theyve said?

The club website says so, but just to confirm: ST holders + Home Groups A and B are essentially guarenteed a ticket should they want one, correct? I'm sure there are many genuine fans outside of those categories, but I think that's the fairest way they could do it.

Sorry this may have been answered somewhere already, but when your category becomes active, can you buy tickets for other fans with registered IDs that are lower ranking than yours, or can you only buy for fans whose ID is the same ranking (or higher of course) ?

  34. UEA_Hornet

    UEA_Hornet First Team Captain

The second one. You can only assign tickets to IDs that meet the sale requirements at the time you buy. It punts out an error message if you try to assign a ticket to someone in a lower category.

    OK cheers.
So do i risk waiting til Mrs TuT and her father can get a ticket too ? So after 45 seconds of careful consideration, Mrs TuT will miss out but the important thing is I should be ok.
