Going 0 - 1 down against QPR (major rivals in those days) and ending up winning 6 - 1. Johnny Fairbrother starred. 1960's.

    Mentioning Bolton:
0 - 3 down at home to Wanderers , who were the best side in the league (Div 3??) that season and clearly deserved it, with 18 minutes to go and winning 4 - 3. Aka Gary Porter's finest 15 minutes.

League Cup: Man U 1 Watford 2 (Blissett 2). Were we 4th or 3rd div that year?

Play-off semi-final: Away at Palace, second half: A tight, competitive match turned into a semi-rout by King, Young and Spring goals. The last time I enjoyed myself in that dump.

I'm pretty sure this debate has been done a lot, but people still talk about 84; the people who went made memories that will last a lifetime. There was even a play about it.

So much is made of the riches of the premier league, but that is only real if you continue Championship spending levels. You might receive xxxm in revenue but it usually costs more than thst to stay up. We were nearly bankrupted not long after both of our previous flirtations with the top flight.

Nah, a cup final and maybe a win, that's something you can take with you to the grave

And after a lengthy pub discussion a vote for 68/69'away 1-0 (Endean) in front of nearly 29,000 at Swindon.

Er, yes, quite. Um, er, I expect they plummeted after that shock defeat.
