I saw this thread on another forum I frequent (I need to get a life) and it seemed quite popular.

Just post any songs/albums/artists you're currently listening to, or gigs you're going to.

    I'll start -

I recently went through The Beatles discography and I've now started going through The Who's discography.

Currently midway through their second album: A Quick One.

Highlights for me from their first album, My Generation, include: Out In The Street, La-La-La-Lies, Much To Much, My Generation and It's Not True

I've got back into the Smashing Pumpkins recently so playing a lot of their stuff today, along with Loveless by My Bloody Valentine and the new Foals LP.

    Amazon prime music random playlists.

The annoying this is every time I put it on I end up adding CDs to my wishlist.

    Yes I still buy CDs.

Siamese Dream is still one my favourite ever albums. Excellent from start to finish.

Shame Billy Corgan is a bit of a *****.

Was listening to Within Temptation's "The Unforgiving" this morning on the way in to work.

Siamese Dream is an amazing album, especially when you read about Corgan's childhood and what it's about.

The rest of their stuff is hit and miss, every album has a few great tracks and a load of filler.

Don't mind Corgan but can't get my head round how he's a devout Catholic who prays every night. He's so aware but yet he bows his head to a nonsense doctrine. What a let down.

Went to Childish Gambino the other week and I couldn't believe how full of woke white kids it was. Superb concert though, haven't seen a single act hold a crowd like that for a long while. H.E.R. was really impressive as well.

I have literally no idea what/who you are talking about.

Something to do with Paul Gambaccini?

Watched the end of the Sean Scully doc tonight.

I assumed it was a spoof given the irredeemably paltry standard of his work.

Not Rutles level but Beeb filler level.

Slightly discombobulated to find out that he is an accredited artist.

    Complete fraud.

I recently got into Pavement and then a band called Silver Jews, starring the guitarist from Pavement. Poetic, country tinted indie rock.
