Cathcart on international duty and rested. Holebas recovering from injury. Britos did well at Man city and Masina is our second choice left back.
Plenty of players have been on international duty, how is it any different to playing games over the same time span for us? Masina is just woeful. He'd be my main concern.
I don't have anything against them as players. This just feels a bad match up for them. Would fancy Britos against Lukaku.
I wonder if this means we will see the opposite on Tuesday: first choice defence, replacements in midfield and attack?

I worry about Masina and Pererya on that left side . It's an open invitation for them to send everything down that side. Perhaps would have been better to put a more defensive player in front of masina. Maybe even Kiko. I've no problem with Britos and Kabasele. Both are decent enough, as long as they can avoid one of their crazy moments. I feel positive about our chances, but suspect that may be because of a delusion caused by the break.
Us to win 4:0, last on match of the day because some other teams played Man Utd to get several penalties but unfairly foster saves them - the *******
Commentator summed it up best, Watford have played worse and won. No shame in that defeat, proud of the performance. Never want to see Adam Masina in a Watford shirt again. Martial was offside. Goodnight.
Could be 10th at 8pm behind the Snake. Season starting to turn very poor. Think Gracia needs to have a good hard look at himself and make the right decision for the club.
Britos and Masina in defence was always going to lead to trouble, but then the pair of them repeatedly trying to play such a high line on top of that vs Rashford was just suicide. Doucoure our best player and deserved his goal - he enjoyed that the game was so open, giving him loads of space to run in to. Deulofeu also was quite good, but was back to being in his more hesitant and sh0t-shy mode again. Meanwhile, Hughes and Deeney kept stopping and slowing us down - the pair of them are just useless away from home. I hope Gray starts vs Wolves.
Not at all impressed with Utd, Rashford aside they’re not a top 4 side. Thought we did well, just couldn’t find the right pass in the final 3rd. Undone by the all too familiar moments of defensive stupidity. We need to make every game count now if we want 7th and Europa league. It’s time to 5hit or get off the pot.
**** me that was frustrating, had accepted our fate with 5 mins to go then we score to give me hope ffs!!
This post is a joke, right?! Win vs Fulham and things are still fine. It will be the games vs Wolves and West Ham most likely to determine if we'll finish 7th, not today.
One of our best performances of the season and we come away with nothing. If we can achieve those levels in the remaining games we'll be alright.
I like to deal in facts not hypotheticals. Wheels are off for sure. Lose to Fulham and Wolfs and season over.
Man U resorted to falling over and time wasting and Atwell bought it every time. We were by far the better team, being wasteful with the final ball cost us all three points. If we play like that against Wolves next week, we’ll reach the FINAL OF THE FA CUP !!!!!!!!! Hughes & Doucoure my stand out players today
Ah okay, given the clear contradiction in your first sentence and your last sentence I'll take it that you're making a poor attempt at humour.
Cant really be too negative, we played them off tbe park and some of our football was world class at times. Preyera had a good game for once and Delafoo huffed and puffed. A bit selfish at times again though. Manure apart from Rashford were very ordinary. Their goalie saved them a few times esp from that Deeney header. Success very poor. Can we get Pendz on please instead? Deserved our goal at the end and it was the very least we deserved. Good effort by the lads and Wolves losing was a bonus. Fulham Tuesday is a must win game now and if Manure can beat Wolves we put k Ourselves right back in the mix, despite what Wet Spam and Lesta do or did today. Thanks to all travelling fans and a safe journey home. Oh and Martial was offside. Atwell was OK overall I wont forgive his ghost goal.
I was on court until 4.10pm so only heard the last half hour driving home. The impression I gained was if we'd taken our chances we would have won. Sounded a good performance. Surrey and Berkshire will be happy counties tonight I suppose!
Match Stats Possession Man Utd 52% Watford 48% Shots Man Utd 8 Watford 20 Shots on Target Man Utd 5 Watford 8 Corners Man Utd 3 Watford 5 Fouls Man Utd 14 Watford 9 ...if only we'd had Gray on the pitch to stick the ball in the onion bag a bit sooner.
Honestly think our most likely route to Europe is through the league - we aren't going to beat City. Lots of winnable games coming up and I include Arsenal in that. Today's performance shows we are capable. I thought we'd have been way off by now, but Huddersfield and Burnley have kept Wolves in it. Leicester unfortunately in the race too. We can do this! I'm a huge pessimist normally, but a fully fit squad with Doucoure in midfield... I think it's now or never.
Not sure if this is a joke or not If it is - ah yeah very funny If it’s not - get a ******* grip, we are playing Fulham on Tuesday a win will tak us back to 7th or 8th and on Sunday we are in the FA cup semi final
We rarely get what we deserve against United. I've lost count of how many games where we've played well and deserved more, yet end up with nothing. This game goes with a multitude of other undeserved defeats against them. Our record against them is played 32, won 5 drew 5 and lost 22. Of those 22, 10 have been odd goal defeats. Some things are just so frustratingly predictable. This is a typical Watford result, where we end up gallant losers against one of the big sides. Nothing you can do about it, but is just annoying.
