https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/03/28/do-report-watford-want-to-sign-bournemouth-striker-josh-king/ Zero chance of happening, but has been reported we are interested.
Good player and proven at this level, but the Pozzos will have a long list of similar players available at a fraction of the price.
Would take him all day long. Pace to burn and scores goals at this level. I'm sure we create as many, if not more, chances than Bournemouth do. Can play through the middle in a two or play out-wide in a three. I'm sure if Bournemouth have a realistic asking price then we will have some competition to sign him. Wouldn't want to pay anything more than £25m.
With the introduction of VAR, Eddie's tactic of systematic diving will finally be brought to it's knees. It makes sense for us to be in a prime position to swoop, prior to their relegation being confirmed. I'm sure he'd be keen to move to a better club, and to not have to play in that tinpot excuse for a stadium. The sticking point, as ever, will be the price.
He was absolutely superb against Spain and Sweden. Runs his absolute bollox off. A little selfish. But would love to see him play through the middle for us. 30m seems expensive but hes proven.
Seeing as Bournemouth have the same kit as AC Milan maybe they will repeat the mistake and send us Wilson instead of King.
I’d rather we splashed £30m on some relatively unknown talents, with hopefully big potential, from Brazil, Belgium, Barcelona or any other type countries beginning with B. But not Brunei cos we should boycott them and their bloody luxury hotels.
Shane Long was supposedly better than what we had in September. I think the views of our strikers have changed somewhat since then !
