At Selhurst we couldn't even foul Deulofeu, despite our best efforts to bring him down on about three occasions. He ran rings round us.

Typical Palace fan's answer- full of arrogance and blinded by stupidity. Away, yeah Foster played a blinder. At home, you were second best by a good distance.

Why? These Watford fans have you on a string. I'm just being honest.

That just isnt true. I seem to remember both Ward and Benteke missing absolute sitters at crucial moments in the game. Football is a game of small margins though and you pulled through, fair play

Im trying to work out which one you are. Would you be that sad to keep switching accounts or are you just posting solely on this one???

I’d fancy Troy to play on.

What is sad is your complete lack of humour and it's giving us Palace fans a bad name. You constantly bite when they are clearly taking the mick.
I support Palace & will be in the away end on Saturday. I don't support Watford. If I'm honest they've annoyed me over the years, from micturating on our (egg &) chips in the final game of the 93/94 season to the 0-3 hiding in the playoffs in 05/06. But if you fail to see the humour in this thread, or that some of them are dancing around you & poking you with a stick then that's your look out.

We were watching different games then mate. Forgive me for thinking you were Watford in disguise.

Fair play to you Palarse lads.

Whilst the whole native born element of the forum have migrated to the turbulent waters of the Politics thread, you nip in here to bring us up to date with the latest Holmesdale chat.

Anyway, on here we like to keep abreast of what’s important to the opposition. Such as local features of interest & the oppo manager.

    To get the ball rolling:

Finally someone has explained egg and chips! I did ask countless times.

I was actually having endless whoosh moments :(

This thread is funny because it's literally one bloke talking to himself on multiple accounts whilst winding himself up.

"Egg & chips" is a reference to a rather unfortunate photo that has done the rounds on here of a certain member of the BBS preparing to tuck into a plate of the aforementioned pub classic.

If you look closely you can see where the SE19 branch of the DUP removed the dinosaur's head/neck as their sheer presence in the park propagates the Papal plot to undermine them. Oh hang on, that's for your politics section.

Iv never seen it before. Two fans of the opposing team having an argument with each other on their opposing teams thread. Got to be a first in my book.

Thats why love the beautiful game.

It's more of a difference of opinion than an argument, but I promise we'll clean up any mess before we leave.

It’s not an argument. I just didn’t realise I was so unfunny. I amused myself with some of my responses at least.

  19. After tonight's result it will be intensified...

Your keeper must have really had a poor game!
I've done the ultimate away trip here in Norway. My local side.. IK Start.. Playing at Tromsø. A 26 hour drive. Though to be fair I flew up there and I was visiting mates for the weekend rather than solely a football trip.

As far as switching club allegiances is concerned, I've always felt it's OK to do it once. I followed Leeds as a young lad before I discovered the Horns. I cant see anything wrong that as i was so young. What people tend forget is that some of us come from places that don't have a league club. When people say simply "follow your local club" well we were about equal distance of 3 clubs! When you don't have any ties to a place with a football league club then it isn't so straightforward.

Try watching MLS. Trips from Vancouver to away games go from minimum of 150 miles to max of 2,000 miles.

We're not upset about 2013 anymore, it was a crap day as I've said before but no Watford fan has said that he dived for the penalty that day. You deserved to win so please stop trying to create something that isn't there. Zaha has been booked four times for diving which I imagine is probably more than anybody else. He dives, he's not the only one but it's the histrionics afterwards that people find so annoying and the coming out in the press complaining about being fouled just sums him up perfectly. Just a big baby who cries if he doesn't get his own way.

  24. It’s not an argument it’s just Nigel and Nigel with their estate agent banter trying to get a rapport going on here before they try and sell us a house.

And don’t forget the poor spellers of ‘lose’.

No siree, lots of loosers have been let loose on here.
    Don’t forget the loosers.
No indeed, but just remember the spelling when we loose games.

No sir, I don’t mind, it doesn’t bug me at all, it’s just a forum, I don’t have a hand wringing obsession about it, the loosers don’t upset me, not at all, oh no I don’t - no honestly, I dont care, not at all at all, no it doesn’t bother me, no it doesn’t, no honestly, I don’t lose sleep over it, it’s only a football forum where we win, draw or loose (arrrghhhh) ............

I'm new to this forum & was struggling to include estate agent vernacular into my post. Offer, market and let was the best I could do. If anyone can gazump me then that's your move.

'Troy Deeney' is actually Croydon estate agent rhyming slang for 'Sarah Beeny'.

"Did anyone see old Troy on Property snakes* & ladders last night?"

(*Watford estate agents use their own slang here.)

  35. I tend to think it's only ok to switch if you were young, impressionable and knew no better - and you switch to Watford. ;)
