At the beginning of the season after they failed in the CL qualifiers it was looking like Celtic were going to ditch him. Given that for most of his reign Rangers have been out of the way he has had an easy time apart from Europe and his days there have been numbered for a while, if he was going to take Celtic further he would have done so by now. I imagine both parties would be happy to part ways at this juncture.

 

Absolutely. Even better for Celtic as they will get the compo (£6m reported but whatever it is).

I imagine Cardiff looked at the two home games they had coming up as winnable games to get them clear of relegation. Lost 8-1 on aggregate!

 

Wolves were dreadful - looked very lethargic and lacking in ideas. Huddersfield dominated the match for most of the 90 minutes and Mounie should have scored with a simple back-post header 20 minutes before his winner. Udders deserved the win. Very good for us.

 

Funny side Wolves, beaten some good sides this year but are capable of being utter rubbish. Zero shots on target tonight against the worst side in the league

Sad really as can't see the bottom 3 being anything other than H, F & CC now. Would have liked to see one of the more established clubs like Soton or CP go down.

Agree Brighton are in free fall and whilst on paper have more quality than Cardiff the latter (due to Colin) look more up for a relegation scrap. I seem to change my mind each week but I think it'll be Cardiff that take the 3rd spot - our win appears to have caused huge damage psychologically

 

I was bored so I watched the Cardiff game tonight and they were marginally better than Friday, but they were really poor and absolutely toothless up front - a decent team would have scored at least 2 goals against Everton.

They will go down - they pulled together after the loss of Sala, however they don't have enough to stay up in my opinion.
