He's getting a fair bit of attention at the mo, but just based on his highlights I can't say I'm especially impressed - I wouldn't be surprised if Gray could match or beat him in a foot race, and I'd have expected Deeney to score most of those goals given the same amount of time and space by the defenders there. It'd only really be worth considering if Brum would accept Troy in part-exchange, thus bringing the fee down for us. I doubt this guy would be much of an upgrade, if any, on either Troy or Andre - he just looks like a younger version of the same quality-level type of player.
Can't watch the video at work. But I'm assuming he looks horrendously slow, as Gray has about as much acceleration as an armchair.
Daniel James? He's a winger. Looks as if he'd offer plenty going forward (certainly more than Sema), though the defensive side of a game could be an issue. Shouldn't cost much more than £10mil as Leeds agreed that fee for him in Jan before the deal fell through.
He looks as if he's been following the "Troy Deeney attempting last season to be Anthony Joshua" fitness regime.
Or even the one who slotted their fourth goal against Brentford? Oh - hang on. I think we cancelled his contract and sent him there...
