I've just finished watching the rugby and the "new" coke/EPL ad comes on "celebrating*" the community of football clubs. As we invenbted the concept of a community/family club how come we're not in it? *Or whroing it out for the corporate dollar more like.
Haven't seen the ad, so it is relating to "the football community"? or football in the community? Either way perhaps we should be pleased we aren't represented in corporate sponsorship of community football.
I think it's more communities in football clubs... It's standard corporate ****-fodder it's just when I first saw it I was surprised that as we were the first community club etc... But as it involves the EPL we all know should remember that "history" only started in 1992. Going back to Burnley isn't that, basically, an apartheid town still?
I can just imagine what the ad is like without seeing it. Yeah Burnley does seem like a town from the dark ages though i guess you can't blame the football club for that.
Rather that than the aspartame any time. Not that I drink coke myself. It's ok as a weed killer and for cleaning drains though I believe.
Coca Cola hate us. Photographic evidence clearly shows when they see a sign for Watford they deliberately drive the other way.
And then when you roast the joint, make a glaze of honey, brown sugar, Jack Daniels, and coke...awesome
