There are newspaper stories in Germany, some more recent than others, that have been highlighted on the Sport Witness site saying Lukebakio is a little over confident and needs to mature as a person. D*sseldorf seem to love him as a player but the coach isn't too impressed by him as an individual.

I agree. The NW corner will have around 100 seats going by the planning website, so the majority will be in the SE corner. If they turn that completely over to seating I think they may be able to squeeze in around 1,000 seats, however, they will need to leave a gap for emergency vehicle access, so, like you say, 1,500 is optimistic.

The bulk of the capacity will have to be from the GT and SEJ stands. Maybe 25,000 then 30,000 is a good soundbite, but I'm struggling to see how they can add 3,500 seats in those two corners alone. Although I do not dispute the final capacity could be increased to 30,000. The SEJ stand has plenty of room for expansion.

The interesting thing for me was Richard Walker said it’s a process and there’s no hurry - and was quickly corrected by Duxbury who said they were hoping to do it quickly. Whether he meant the work in the corner’s when saying that or that the approved planning has a time deadline, I don’t know. But Duxbury definitely stated, off mic, that the club were hurrying with this blueprint.

  4. I think given the 'stripes will feature going forward' red shorts are moot.

Deeney's comment about 'kicking the sh1t' out of Everton has been picked up by the Liverpool press. That should mean Everton arrive nice and motivated

Or scared. Can see a few characters in their squad (Bernard, Gomes) who might not be up for the rough and tumble on a cold February afternoon

The most interesting thing in all of this to me was the continuation of stripes; this is groundbreaking. I am intrigued by the possibilities; if, as the hornet's nest post seems to suggest, they said 'a stripe of some sort' that could mean any number of weird and wonderful things.

That is the exact words Scott used, its true. There was nothing but positivity from him about the stripes.

I remember two black stripes from the early 70's, they looked quite good.

Cheers for the write up Burnsy, a satisfying array of pressing questions covered there.

Only other thing I'd have liked put to the panel was a question about if our pattern of too late, and often incorrect subs, leading to us inviting pressure and conceding late goals, had been considered as a hugely significant flaw in the club's tactics which needed to be addressed.

The clubs going to build extra small seats and a bit like taking a carry on bag you have to put it in the metal rack to see it fits the dimensions they will install a human version.

I’m pretty sure WFC backsides have increased in size since the Furphy days.

Could be elephantine by Gracia’s 20th season in charge.

Really appreciate the write ups Burnsy.

What disappointed me was Deeneys reaction to the January slump question. Last season from the start of December we scored 2 goals away until the end of the season, (none at all after 2nd January). This season the sh*te performances have already started. Why is he getting upset at someone asking the question? We pay to watch that cr*p, (one reason why I gave up my ST this year was so I wouldn't have to watch the idiots giving up as usual), so don't get angry with people asking the question but sort your bl**dy team mates out.

I haven't been diligent in logging the data but there is a clear correlation between fan buttock size & WFC performance.

    Skinny under Keen.

    Larger now.

If we do qualify for the CL at any point, Occupation Rd at 5pm will be like a watering hole in the Serengeti.

Just speaking as someone who was there, the question was terribly worded, hence Deeney’s reaction. The guy I think knew what he meant in his head but just worded it in a way that was pretty straightforwardly accusing the players of downing tools.

Everyone knew what the guy meant but he was unfortunate that it was given to Deeney to answer when any other club representative would have been more tactful.

Well I guess Troy maybe thought it was personal and he probably keeps going but certainly others haven't .

Next few weeks will decide our season with the cup and a few winnable home games .

Must admit it has been concerning both Burnley and Brighton outplayed us..

He did but really not in the way the press are commenting. It was clearly tongue in cheek, and said in an unformal setting. Maybe a bit silly to say still but he said so much more positive things and it’s just selective reporting and taking one comment and not giving it context.
