Forgot to buy these tickets for the easiest away trip of the season and yesterday they sold out. Not happy. So on the off chance I called up today to see if any had been returned and blagged a couple. Very happy. Apparently any returns won't become available via the ticket site so you need to call. I assume the same applies to Brighton which is also sold out.
Yes, I found out the hard way today. Given the size of Wembley and the fact I find it hard to believe Spurs will sell out versus Watford I wonder why this has happened.
I think we took the full 3000 allocation. Spurs never going give more for a league match than the minimum requirement.
Because the local council restrict the number of full capacity events at Wembley due to concerns over the impact on the local community, transport & policing. The next 3 Spurs games have been limited to 51,000- us, Newcastle & Leicester. However.. Spurs have now negotiated with Brent Council to boost the 51,000-spectator cap to 62,000 for up to five domestic matches after the Leicester game and 90,000 for Champions League matches. https://www.harrowtimes.co.uk/news/...-lifts-attendance-cap-on-spurs-wembley-games/ I'm wondering if the top tier will be open for our visit a week Wednesday?
btw ive managed to wangle myself a ticket for the trip to Wembley even though my last away league game was Peterborough in 2009! It's not what you know
I believe it is. I'm thinking that's how they came to that figure. A mate of mine said they closed off the top tier for a few games recently. I noticed they did for the LC semi but havent noticed for other games.
I will be happy with a point away v spurs'. Son, and Kane out. and Spurs not been good these last few games. it would be realistic to hope for a point
Out according to the Daily Fail. Along with Kane, Son, Wanyama, Moura and Sissoko. I wonder if they'll ask the EPL to postpone the fixture due to the injury-ravaged squad?
That will be a big boost for us if this little **** is not playing. Still will be a tough match. Let's face it, their backup squad is stronger than Newcastle or Burnley who we've struggled against recently, but it's still a good opportunity to win and get our first ever league double over Spurs.
Watching the South Korea vs Bahrain match, there's a chance that Son may be back in England before we play Spurs. They've just started extra-time with the score at 1-1. South Korea with all the possession but Bahrain having more shots at and on goal. Edit: Drat, South Korea have just taken the lead...
I had a lucky sheepskin lined denim jacket that I wore to the third round in '84. Of course I had to wear it for every round. I was sweltering at Wembley.
Gutted Cassius Clay is out, was looking forward to seeing what dance move or finger shaping celebration he was going to make when he scored against us.
Will still not be 100% fit though with all the traveling and time difference. No Kane or Alli. Davies went off injured against Chelsea, Rose is a liability at the back. A less than 100% Son. They played their best 11 against Chelsea and got knocked out. Their fans will want them to win a trophy so they will play another strong team against Palace, then play us, followed by Newcastle. Can they still hurt us, of course, but I fancy our chances. Hopefully Palace do is a favour and kick a few of them as well.
