1 team change from the Muff game. Sema ditched. Hughes back in.

 

Fearing the end for Chalobah at Watford. Clearly not injured as he played against Woking. Devastating

 

Keeping the dodgy back line then...

 

Much as I appreciate all Mariappa has done for us, I'm not delighted to see him remain in the back line. I wouldn't bet against a successful Zaha penalty appeal.

 

Doesn't look good but too early for that. Sometimes it does take years to get right back to your best.

 

Poor line-up.

 

Can't see a clean sheet with that defence.

 

What would yours be?

 

Not Hughes, not Mariappa. The former has been appalling all season and the latter has never been Premier League standard in his career. I never thought I'd say it but I'd honestly rather see Britos start than Mariappa, and I'd have Quina in for Hughes and play three in the middle with Deulofeu wide right, or Sema in a straight swap. Also much prefer Janmaat to Femenia, but I'm not sure where he's disappeared to again.

 

I would like him to say we can improve in certain positions. A subtle note that squad needs an improvement on key areas.

 

Sema instead of Hughes I would have. Awesome last league game i seem to remember.

 

Agree about Britos instead of Mapps. Less so about Quina for Hughes

 

I'm not a fan of Sema but seems an odd decision to drop him after he showed some promise in the last two outings. I would probably prefer Britos over Marriappa and that is saying something. Apart from that as expected.

 

Hopefully after a full pre season we’ll see him back to the quality player we know he is.

Mariappa or Britos isn’t a great choice when choosing a partner for Cathcart....

 

Why not? Britos and Cathcart were a regular partnership of a team that only conceded one goal a game in the first three quarters of 2015/16.

 

Because it's 2019 and Britos is 3 years older?

 

Get rid of Cathcart and Mariappa . Mariappa is not good enough and Cathcart is shot. Get rid .....

 

Pozzo won't invest in one centre back, never mind two.

Great win. Extremely easy. Palace are championship at best. Terrible one man team, the sooner they are gone the better. Imagine being a palace fan haha. They were lucky we played our B team against them today. Should and could have easily been 5/6-1 us. We embarrassed them on their own turf.

Such an easy to beat.

Woking actually gave us a better game, and even the players seemed more 'up' for the FA cup tie.

Can't blame them.
