Both concentrating on the league but either could beat us. Horrible draw.

A very meh! draw, could have been worse but Newcastle seem to be our bogey side this year

  8. Didn't we play Newcastle the other year in the cup as well? Yawn yawn boring. Fat Spanish wine waiter etc. I think we should just forfeit and not bother. Wash our hair or something that day.

Why? Wouldn’t reckon there is much difference in our chances either way.

Blackburn is a terrific gritty northern away day. Hope they beat the horse-thumpers.

Reckon Blackburn will win the replay and we will be facing Danny Graham.

Maybe field a stronger side for the next tie ?

Blackburn are home in the replay, let hope they win and then I think we could beat them at their place, Newcastle well who knows I don't!

Not the worst draw. Very winnable. Shame it’s another away game though.

Winnable and with the way the latter part of the draw occurred,it presents a great chance I'd say?

It will be a battle of whose 80% second string team is stronger, assuming it's Newcastle. Alternatively Blackburn will beat us because they will be 100% physical & will generally want it more.

FA cup lost it's glamour long ago. Only slightly less so than the Rumbelows league cup.

The way the competition has went so far we should play a full strength team in the next round. 6 Premier league clubs already out including Liverpool, Manchester United Vs Arsenal, Palace vs Tottenham and Man City have Burnley and some tricky games for other premier league clubs. We have a genuine opportunity for a good cup run this season.

Probably depends on who wins - if its Blackburn might be on somewhere.

I mean they had us v Millwall on BBC the other season...

Another trip to France to take on the star of 'Allo Allo' it is then.

To be fair we battered them for 45 mins at their place but couldn't score (no shock there). Take a few
chances this time and we have a fair shot. Equally, if Blackburn win it's a nice cold day up north to
Ewood Park. I have fond memories of Micha Hyde playing a blinder in a rather famous 4-3 win
    for the hornets.

They will also see us as beatable so it's up to us to put out a strong side and show we actually want to
take this competition seriously. A few of the fringe players did well yesterday so defo be a tough selection
for the goblin. Depends where we are leauge wise too.

    Come off it.

    Arsenal v Man U
    Millwall v Everton
    Palace v Spuds
    Accrington v Derby/Saints
    AFC Wimbledon v Wet Spam
Shrewsbury (if they win replay) v Wolves

Not even convinced we would be next choice after that, probably Citeh v Burnley.

  27. Cardiff gone
    Leicester gone
    Fulham gone
    Bournemouth gone
    Liverpool gone
    Southampton and Newcastle facing replays
3 of Arse, Man U , Tottenham, Palarse, Man C and Burnley to go.

Based on league position, if we get through against Blackburn/Newcastle, we'd be 5th favourites...

(and 3rd if by some miracle Burnley and Palace win)

Not great but could be worse and definitely a chance of progressing. Possibility of it being on TV especially if it's Blackburn

I was quite hoping we'd actually get Wimbledon too. Never been to their ground and it's
a fan-made club too. I wonder if they still play the "Wombles of Wimbledon" theme.

Full strength team please. No need for rotation. We’ve only only got one game per week until cup tie and first team have had 10 days off between muff and palace. Rotate for the Spurs in midweek game if necessary, them back to full strength away against Brighton on 2nd.
