    Barnet next I’m hoping.

Controlled that from start to finish, never in doubt.

    Hughes my MOTM.

Was going to moan about what a non-event that game was but then I realised we could always be Fulham.

    Que sera sera..

He would be if he could just stop pushing players over all the time. Seriously, I think he has OCD.

    Comfortable performance.
Perhaps it looks like a poor performance because we are used to watching high energy Premiership football.
I wont say dragged down to their level because that's patronising.. but you play at the pace needed to get the job done and that we did.

Was pretty comfortable for the defence generally although they got at us more in the 2nd.

Wasteful in attack not helped by Success falling over or giving the ball away and sometimes the whole team got a bit sloppy.

Job done and we move onto Round 4.

I'm so disgusted with our performance I'm going to start a petition to remove us from the Emirates FA Cup. I'll have a link shortly.

Deeney was absolute **** again. Sick of it. Woking should have had a penalty too but only the big teams like us get those decisions. And Bournemouth.

Woking left back liked going to ground.

I thought Hughes wanted it more today.

We controlled the game really well as sometimes when you see teams take on non league opponents the pros drop to the level of the semi pros, which didn’t happen. Some of our passing was woeful but I think that was down to these boys not playing much with each other.

Surprised by the amount saying terrible performance, we weren’t going to hit these for 7/8 with the 11 changes.

Well controlled, structured performance that meant Gomes could get the dressing gown and slippers on for over 65 minutes.

Was like a pre season friendly today, controlled the game and did what we needed to.

Disappointing performance lacking urgency which is surprising given some of these guys should have been busting a gut to stake a first team claim. Passing was atrocious. If we play that team in round 4 we will lose against most opponents so I hope Gracia has learned from it.

I have given up on Success. He's had many chances here and out on loan and never seems to improve his decision making. Pinning hopes on him as the great prospect for the future is false comfort so I think we should be quietly looking to exit him in the summer before other clubs realise how poor he is.

Talking of breakways and Britos...I think Woking would have had to fold in shame if he'd capped his manic charge forward with a goal near the end. Crazy scenes.

Real criticism hurled towards the team on the shoutbox today.

But the cameras were there hoping for a shock, Woking are playing extremely well and full of confidence, and we played not one match fit regular first team player. We were playing away in a packed, tinpot little ground, and it was a typical 'nothing to gain, everything to lose', bananaskin type pf a game. Any hornet going to watch that game today would have expected us to be hanging at times.

But we looked comfortable, their crowd were never really given the chance to get behind them, and we won. No drama.

    Good result.

True, and Hughes certainly never seems to drop his effort. He just seems to regularly give away needless freekicks with a forearm “lean” into players.

Never in doubt. Proud of my team, we did well enough to not be embarrassed but the better team won. We didn’t create enough, only one real effort (should have scored) but defended well enough to keep the score down. 2-0 seemed about right. Very professional performance from you guys and I wish you all the best for the rest of the season.

I don't know if he's a bit unlucky though. He seemed to up against the most niggly aggressive Woking player of the lot. Their number 3 I think it was.

Thought we did well.11 changes against a team that was always going to make it difficult. They just wanted to keep the score down. Was impressed with Penaranda thought he did well in a difficult game, and showed glimpses of his class.

Sensibly in the opposing half for the best part. And I’d rather that than him watch the game go by him. It’s part of his game he’s constantly hassling. If he brought a bit of composure to his game he would lose that tenacity which is probably his best attribute

When you make so many changes its never easy to judge what the end result would had been had we played our normal starting 11, however for certain it would have been more than 2-0!

Woking hardly troubled us and Britos and Gomez won't have had many easier games in their careers! however whoever we play next round please don't change the complete 11, if we want to advance in the Cup its too risky , bring a few youngsters on when its job done, but labouring on for 70 minutes with a team who have never played together is not the way to do it!

Was going to say the same.

Pen seemed too keen to impress but understandable.

Success not composed & didn’t see much from Nate to suggest he’s making progress.

Respect to the lads for not embarrassing our pre-season warm up team and letting them walk off with heads high.
Not like Tottering Hotspurs who stuck the knife in poor Tranmere 7-0. Wtf do they think they achieve by doing that, including bringing Kane on when 6-0 up?

We've done a professional if disjointed job and Woking didn't have a look-in.

Gracia had a look at the fringe players and helped answer a few questions regarding their chances of breaking into the team - or not. (Very disappointing from Success, trying too hard and nothing working).
Returning players got some competitive game time and first teamers rested.

It wasn't pretty but we're out of any bad headline news (well done Barnet and Gillingham who grab the headlines).

In the end we did enough to cross the line on a comfortable Sunday afternoon and in the 4th round hat. All that matters.
    Barnet next up please.

Important game time for lots of players. Success doesn’t seem to be developing as a player which is a shame.

I’d love us to have a cup run this year. I wonder whether Gracia would stick with Gomes in goal if we did?

Easy. I might be being harsh as there was obviously a gulf in class buf it did seem that Woking were playing to keep the score down rather than win the game, shame as I thought they were going to have a good go at us. Having said that I think we would have took them apart with more space.

Success - was woeful today even against defenders from the Conference south he don't look like scoring or creating anything.

Chalobah- I thought he was very sloppy today but was good for him that got 90 minutes.

Penaranda- Showed glimpses of what he can bring to the team. Got crowded out at times because he was able to run away from Woking players at ease, with a bit more space against a more adventurous team he will be more effective.

Wilmot- Easy game for him TBF did not have a lot to do but when called upon he was solid.

Deeney- Didn't have to do a lot when substituted but he now has 3 in his last two games and he is starting to put away chances that fall to him.

Last but not least Well done to the fans today, there was a lot of talk before the game that the Woking support would help them but all you could hear on the TV was Watford songs. Was also nice to hear our fans singing Penarandas name in response to him being targeted by their fans and some of their players.

I’ve said on previous threads, I can’t see Success developing as a player. I just don’t see a player with any football intelligence, conviction or composure. Oh, and dives around like a bleeding fairy! Complete garbage today.
