Unfortunately, I can't give him any abuse on Twitter as my account has been temporarily suspended due to giving MOTD abuse for their continued masturbationfest over putting Manure first.
Strange no-one else calls us a team of hackers etc .. Infact apart from Holebas and Deeney when in the mood we hardly have anyone who really gets stuck in . Sure somone might do the odd dirty tackle but who doesn't?
Another thoroughly enjoyable game, what a season we're having. Foster MOTM again and good to see Deeney get a couple from open play. Gosling is a ****.
I totally agree about Pozzo and Giraldi. The way they’ve created a first XI for 50 million and a whole 25 man squad for 100 million , while stupidly selling Richarlison for 45 million after they wasted 10 million buyimg him only a year before , beggars belief .
It was not a penalty in my opinion but had it been the other way round all 11 Muff players would have surrounded the ref
Seen post-match comments and even the team and coach are moaning about the referee. They all thought it was a penalty, although I thought it was more ball to hand. Only the top 6 and Bournemouth get those types of decisions, so we cannot really complain too much. Had Doucoure been sent off, then I'm sure it would have been a game changer. Bournemouth could have come back at us...….oh.....yep, it happened anyway. Annoying that apart from Bournemouth twice, only Liverpool have scored more than twice against us this season. They've managed a meaty 7 goals in the back of our net. That alone is just mental.
just seen the gosling tackle on Cleverley! That could have been a red with some refs. Ps I also hate Bournemouth!
But they praised Troy's aggression and didn't mention the unnecessary foul that kicked off the comeback. Troy talking himself into trouble again with his insistence thst the ref bottled it several times? (Even though he was dead right)
Deserved point, should have been three. Bournemouth are just Bournemouth, a cancer to the premier league. The sooner they get relegated the better. Despite their fans saying we don’t like them because of the championship, has nothing to do with my dislike for them. It is the constant play acting and deliberate cheating that I can’t stand. I pretty sure that Howe should be given a touch line ban based on his imaginary card waving if I understand the rules correctly. He won’t get one but he should, bringing the game into disrepute. A disgusting little team, with a disgusting little manager. They scored from blatant cheating. Then their fans have the audacity to give it large. Absolute joke of a club.
Jenas said Doucoure should have been sent off, but then after the Burnley match said Brady shouldn't have been! He scissor chopped the Huddersfield guy from behind at high speed with zero chance of getting the ball. Where do they get their pundits from?
So in 3 out of the 4 games we have drawn away we have taken the lead, Fulham, Everton and Bournemouth, the other one being Southampton where we went a goal behind. We have won 3 games away Burnley, Wolves and West Ham and only lost 3 Arsenal, Newcastle and Leicester, not a bad away record but shame we haven't been able to keep the lead more!
Hahaha Deeney could get in trouble for that but that made me laugh saying that after the game on MOTD
Foster amazing and Cathcart, Deeney, Kiko and Holebas with passable efforts but everyone else was culpable for us not taking 3 points tonight, subs aside. I said it at the end of the shoutbox but Pereyra and Deulofeu should at the very least, be ‘flat-track bullys’ - club’s outside the Top 6 should get ripped apart by those 2 given their ability but all too often they get stuck in second gear and do sod all. Deulofeu is the worse culprit of the two and he was utterly anonymous tonight. Should be ashamed of his efforts. I hate Eddie Howe. BUT...he had clearly done his homework that Capoue and Doucoure would be the engine for us and he stuck Fraser and Brooks in there to buzz about and fall over at the merest touch. Do I like it? No...but it worked. They took advantage of the refs inexperience and we played into their hands with niggky little pushes and hand-offs that allowed them to employ their gameplan. I thought it was a penalty at the end. I normally will defend officials against the vitriol on here but his arm should not have been where it was, short distance or not. And it blocked a goal bound effort. Thought it was a very strong claim. Lastly and the biggest gripe - we simply cannot ignore the need for a CB any longer. Mariappa is Watford through and through and I don’t doubt his dedication to the club. But at the level we are aiming for, its irrelevant without the ability to match. He has cost us goals when he’s played and he’s just not up to PL standard. Cathcart was doing 2 players job in the first half and it showed. I simply cannot abide by fans who don’t see how bad he is. He should be nowhere near the team and even Britos should be in ahead of him until someone else is brought in. But the club should be going ALL OUT to get a quality CB in before we next play in the league.
Like I say, we're not the type of team to get those. It's just the way it is. Eddie Howe knew it was a penalty and you could tell with his comments that he knew they got away with one there. Again, the BBC after-match focus was all about poor little Bournemouth and big bad Watford not getting the red card they so richly deserved. Nothing said about the red card tackle by Gosling on Cleverley or the penalty incident.
I hear they're on their forum calling our players a bunch of hackers seems a little bit childish to me. Especially when you consider the average age of The Bournemouth fan base is about 70.
Howe do muff keep getting away with it? That’s Howe. This should be the back pages tomorrow but it won’t be. From the major talking points Doucouré lucky. But I’m sure the refs will make up for that in the near future. I thought gosling challenge on Tom was a great tackle won the ball first then took out the player I think the ref was playing rules from 99 not 2019. Defending become optional if Big Ben has a bad game we lose this. Gino’s cheque book needs to come out for a quality centre back Needed even more than s goal scorer right now. As we have goals in the team but we need someone to organizethat back four. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I still don't get the hate for them. They are a good side. They deserve to be where they are. We were lucky not to have a man sent off and they were all over us second half. A draw was a steal for us from 45 minutes onwards. They were faster to every ball, more organised, and better prepared and they generally are in most games. Probably one of the most dynamic front lines in the league and they will take points from those around us so good on them. They go over easy and play the ref game but then so do all the other teams. We are one of the few that don't as much. Fair play to them. Was a fantastic game of footy and at the end I'm just happy we grabbed a point and took 2 off them at a tough away game.
Not going to comment on the game as I really enjoyed it overall, three points would be nice but I was just happy to be super entertained by a Premier League game involving Watford. My one observation: If we weren't so tight and forked out £20 million for someone like Ake, we win today. Heck swap Ake for Mariappa and it's 3-0 to use first half IMO. If Christinsen is available and at the right price - let's do it.
I don’t get this love in for Ake. Wasn’t great for us and isn’t for them, looking at the amount they let in.
Someone told Sema, you are allowed to get in the penalty area and you are allowed to shoot! He did both tonight for the first time and scored a very good goal!
Haven’t seen the incident back, but that would be great if the rules were consistently followed. However, they’re not.
I think the dislike is partially in response for them disliking us so much I mean they have 3 or 4 or threads about us on their forum. Must admit though I don't care about them and I don't get why some people get annoyed about a club so far away. I can honestly say hand on heart that I can't remeber ever meeting a Bournemouth fan they are not even a big club in Dorset. I have plenty of family down there and most people I know and have met in Dorset support Man United and a couple of Southampton.
Maybe it's just me, but it seems very weird if we hate a whole team just because a few people on a random message board said they hated us first.
Ye Yeah I must admit I have never got it either. They just seem such an irrelevant club to me, Southampton and Portsmouth is only down the road to Bournemouth yet they can't even be bothered to to hate them. Even when I lived in Dorset no one cared about them. So I don't get why so many of our fans do.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/footbal...s-fa-reveals-plans-player-style-disciplinary/ Glad to see the FA are implementing the rule they just brought in this season. So while the wee little man Mr Howe, couldn’t be banned, I was wrong, he should have had a verbal warning which adds up. Four warnings and it is a touchline ban.
It's because we havent played those ****s up the road for so long our younger fans have never experienced our actual rivals and they latch on to any old pantomime villain. Even some of the old farts on here have dismissed the true villains of the piece. A cup match against those neanderthals would soon focus minds and this nonsense about Bournemouth would be forgotten. Yes it would mean some of our fans getting their skulls thumped, but so be it.
