Look, that’s fine. My role here is to assist young Iberian coaches maximise their potential &, believe you me, post match platitudes are the key here.
There have been some bleak, cold games through the years. At times, Harry’s humour and originality made me laugh and kept me coming back to the Vic. The Vic will be a worse place without the real Harry there.
"If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine". - Harry the Hornet
I think he may have passed away as I stayed up all night Christmas Eve last year and he didn't show up.
A bit like the days when an election result was solemnly returned and a bloke with a bucket in his head was standing there alongside leading politicians of the day.
First Shorty and now Harry the Hornet. The club really don't seem to like attention seeking ****s trying to make everything about them on matchday.
Gino was probably in the suit yesterday to save a few pennies. Matches with Harry: 100% win rate Matches without Harry: 0% win rate Is this our Eva Carneiro moment?
I know it was only one game, but I found the new Harry to be a little 'muted'. I'm sure he'll grow into the role, but he seemed very limited to high-fives with our younger fans. He stepped on the pitch after the full-time whistle, but wasn't dancing or running around, from what I saw. I also couldn't help but notice that he's a little taller than Gareth was, so 'Harry's' head didn't quite fit on his. I have a gut feeling that the club are trying to start 'afresh'; while Gareth left of his own accord, the club are probably acutely aware of the 'controversies', and want a lower-octane presence, in any case. I'm open-minded.
I would have been daft for the new Harry to try to replicate Gareth from day 1 because it would have failed. Let him grow into the role, bearing in mind the mascot is for the kids, Gareth took it to a new level.
Not sure it would have been the club doing the pushing. I wouldn't be surprised if, after the Hodgson press conference, the tabloid media started to get a bit close for comfort. Probably digging around with his family and work to find a story. That'd be enough to make most people jack it in.
I’m not sure Harry Hornet is interesting enough to the media to warrant a a “full dirt investigation”, despite the lengths of paranoia that some people adhere to. The reason why he resigned is because the club wanted to take control of Harry’s twitter feed and Gareth wasn’t willing to accept that .
It was Gareth's decision to leave and he left on his terms. He keeps the Twitter account for HH. The club were doing things that he couldn't accept, so decided it was time for him to go.
