It's taken them 4 years but QPR have at last coughed up their fine for FFP to the Football League. £42m one way or another it's cost them.

It's just a shame their fight against it, along with Muff too, basically killed FFP dead as a meaningful control on club spending. The current regime is much weaker.

Why is QPR's fine so much more than Bournemouths? Surely Wolves have broken the FFP rules far worse than I can remember QPR doing.

The fine was calculated based on percentages. QPR completed obliterated the limits. Muff just went over them.

Wolves are in the clear. The EFL clubs agreed to water down the rules a couple of years ago in the face of legal action from QPR calling the whole thing into question.

22 million written off from directors loans and the balance over 10 years, not quite 'coughing up'

As much as I hate QPR, if they had to pay it all in one go the club would most likely cease to exist, considering we've been in some pretty ****** positions pre-Pozzo, I wouldn't wish it on any other club.

Fair, perhaps they should ask ‘arrys dog for a loan?

Seems ridiculous QPR get done for 40 million but other teams can spend like bandits in future seasons.
