"Dodi Lukebakio is a player who has good technique"

In comparison to Gray and Deeney, yes.

In comparison to grannies the world over who actually can trap a bag of cement? Then no.

Another hit from the agent that brought us Oulare, Okaka and Sven Kums (albeit we stiffed Udinese with him).

Luckily we've steered clear of him this transfer window, but it shouldn't be forgotten that his speciality is last minute transfer *********ry...

TBF signing Sven Kums did brighten up the forum for a few days.

That reminds me, isn't Oulare still our player? What's happening with him?

Lol, remember when people thought he might be Premier League strike and he actually featured in some games? Haha, anyone can have a go these days.

Lukebakio going does free up a U21 slot. Maybe for Peneranda

Nailed on given we buy all his agent's clients. In fact we should be at the "....get one free" stage now.

It's like when you do an online Asda shop and they turn up with an alternative product to the one you ordered online because what you've ordered is actually out of stock. "Were actually out of dendonckers so here's a lukebakio on the house"

He was close to signing to West ham in January but they've spunked their budget now, hopefully Gino will swoop in at the 11th hour and grab him at a reduced fee!

Turns out that Charleroi (where we got young Dodi from) have a sporting director called Mehdi Bayat. Dodi's agent (and well-known purveyor of crap Watford players from the Low Countries) is Mogi Bayat, Mehdi's brother. Nothing weird about that deal at all, particularly as Charleroi flipped Lukebakio for a nice profit after buying him permanently from Anderlecht only to sell him straight to us...

Although tbf Okaka is the best striker at the club.

Although not the best player at the club who could theoretically play striker .

What’s the end game here? How much garbage do we have to buy before we get payback from this agent and get a player of first team quality?

You take cash you want to launder, buy some crap with it - doesn't matter what sort of crap - wait a bit, then sell the crap and turn it back into cash but this time it's clean and untraceable

    It's a Dodi/Dusseldorf love story so far.

He seems wanted and looks to be settling in really well. Hopefully he'll have a good season in Germany and kick on here or bring in the money via more loans.

Fortunas Dodi Lukebakio in the footsteps of his friend.

Dusseldorf Fortuna's youngster Dodi Lukebakio wants to establish himself in the Bundesliga just as his mate Nany Dimata succeeded in front of him.

He is just 20 years old and one of the greatest talents of Fortuna's footballers: Dodi Lukebakio, who joined Premier League club Watford as the second league champion and Bundesliga rookie and has been training with Red and White for two weeks. The biggest compliment was made a few weeks ago by his best friend Nany Landry Dimata, whom he knows from his time in Belgium. Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg has just loaned the attacker to Belgian Europa League side RSC Anderlecht. "Nany just told me good things about the Bundesliga," said Lukebakio. "It would not be easy, but I would have the quality and should definitely try it at Fortuna." That finally convinced him to take the step into the state capital.

Dimata serves Lukebakio as a role model, as his friend made a big step up the career ladder at VfL Wolfsburg last season and completed 21 games for the North Germans. That would also create Fortuna's new right winger with the Congolese roots in the Fortuna jersey. "I want to play Fortuna more often than I did in Watford," he says. "It has not gone very well there." The youngster has long been moving among his fellow players as a matter of course, and is well integrated in the shadow of the D*sseldorf arena and an integral part of the troupe. The spirit in the team was good. An important help is his Belgian compatriot Benito Raman. "He is a fantastic friend. He helps me a lot, is something of an interpreter. "Fortuna was able to feel the abilities of access during the Austrian training camp in the friendly match against Watford. Since convinced the right wing in ranks of the English first division, demonstrated his speed, his technical strength and his assertiveness in one-on-one. A few days later, he kicked Fortuna's side in the match against Saudi champions Al-Hilal Riyadh, showing his incredible light-heartedness and ease with which he also works in training sessions. Again and again he seeks the duels.

He feels no pressure, as he assures. "I am happy to have signed here. The team has ambitions, "he said after the practice session on Friday. "Here I can learn to check myself. It's like in the Premier League, it's very physical. "Lukebakio believes he will be accommodated by Fortuna's counter-play. "I like to play right-winger." The junior player sees himself in the tradition of Arjen Robben, without wanting to compare himself with the Bayern star. He likes to pull inside to finish with his left foot.

First and foremost, the fan of Neymar and Thierry Henry wants to be in the service of the team. "I like listening to the coach to do as much as possible for the team," he explains. The Fortunas see in him enormous potential, a special gift and refinement. They hope that he plays in the spotlight in the upcoming season. Friedhelm Funkel is enthusiastic about the skills of his protégé. "He has great development potential," says the coach.

Oh god, a random young Belgian striker who is best mates with Lukebakio and failed to score in 900 minutes of Bundesliga football last season, with that name?! Surely that's the dream Pozzo signing, the possibilities are almost endless...

"Oh Mr Pozzo, sir! I feel so blessed that you pay so much money for me and I have the opportunity to play with such a prestigious club in the Premier League!"
"Nah, don'tcha worry 'bout a thing, you never play for us - I buy you for somewhere to wash me money, Laundry Dimata."

    Or...

"Thank you so much for signing me Mr. Pozzo, sir! I am so thankful and grateful that you have put your faith in me - you make me feel so special, like I really matter".
"No, Nany Dimata - you all be just'a numbers on'a my spreadsheet".

Good on him, I wonder how much the loan fee is? Presumably we are not paying them to have him? :)
