I apologise in that case, I thought the order of the votes when you click on the player is the order they were cast.

Having learnt my lesson previously to consider what you say more carefully ,I think you might have something here
in the absence of any messages ...

  3. Optimistichornet

to be fair I thought the order the names appear on the votes was the order they were cast for that player. this now appears to not be the case.

  4. Norwayhornet

Yeah I fell into that trap too ,whilst figuring out who voted whom and when .

Well we are back at square one really.

Harrow and I are good, the rest of you are all getting lynched tonight in one long line!

Rereading Day 1, Squibba looks damm guilty.

His rocking up at the exact same time as the wolf's message was posted, the use of Hey Guys in the wolf's message (which I picked up on and moog tried to deflect). I said it was an Americanism but I'd wager in England it's mostly used by younger people. In any event, he stopped using it thereafter. He being very eager to vote Diamond; he was the first to state he would, followed by PJ, followed by Moog, even though the consensus of opinion Diamond was almost certainly good. In the end, after Cthulhu stated he would vote for Squibba, in a *** for tat Squibba voted for Cthulhu instead. I don't need to remind you who the wolves's first kill that night was do I?

The people who did vote Diamond that day (despite the widely held belief he was not only experienced but almost certainly good and therefore a valuable member for Team Good were: Steve Harrow, Moog, Option, PJ, Norniron and Daft Row. A traitor and one wolf in there at least. I think there are more.

That’s why I was confused yesterday: see my post at 11:29am to Happy (page 3).

I thought NI had voted 4th for Moog on day 3 (to make the voting 4-3 to Moog) so was confused why he was evil.

But that voting order had happy going 2nd, or 2nd last the day before, which she then confirmed wasn’t correct.

Hold on that's rubbish though. There was no consensus that Diamond was good. The consensus was that we ought to vote for one of Diamond or Norway on the first day as they were talked about in the messages. The only other option would have been to lynch a random. It was a long shot but as long a shot as voting for anyone that day. Diamond was just unlucky. Also do you really think Squibba would play it that daft to implicate himself by killing Cthulhu because of a playground spat.

I do agree about the message style but it is very easy to implicate people based on how they write.

Some of the wolf kills have been a bit strange. For example killing Dom and CB, two people who would have been under suspicion the next day seem like odd choices. So it is entirely possible that Squibba played it daft!

No it isn't rubbish. Even HH thought it stupid to vote a player named as good by either the seer who would know, or the wolf. Especially such a potentially valuable player for Team Good.

Oh I've just noticed my spell checker changed your name to Option in my previous post. Hope people understood it.

Diamond was just, perhaps on balance slightly less, likely to be evil than Norway.

However both were very likely to be good. And a very well trodden Wolf tactic is to implicate experienced players early to get them out of the game.

That Moog tried to rubbish people away from Squibba, when he is likely to have been the traitor, makes me suspicious.

What we do definitely know about the wolf is that they always message late. This instantly makes Squibba suspicious. Especially the timing on day 1, when squibbs had clearly just remembered that the game had started.

Squibba has missed a vote and Otter took no action. This makes me slightly suspicious.

Squibba has barely been seen. When hes been on here, he’s led no charge against team evil. That makes me suspicious.

There’s no golden bullet against Squibba. But we’ve received a number of clues which add up to something more.

I doubt I’ll make it to Monday. So my advice is to go for the people who HH24 and Meh suspect. Squibba and Steve are the top of my list. Maybe PO but I think he’s made sense so far today. Maybe PJ, but I think I stopped being suspect of him when he voted for Moog immediately after HH24s seer code was revealed.

I’m boarding now so I’m voting Squibba. Good luck team Good!

Oh, and yeah Opti, I have every confidence Squibba could kill Cthulhu. After the first day's messages I said we either had an experienced seer and an inexperienced wolf or vice versa. I don't remember Squibba being a wolf before, I do note that whilst he isn't out every day claiming to be a midwife to horses he is as actively involved in this game as you were when you were a wolf. Thought you would have picked up on that.

Squibba has gone quiet since I accused him of things. Maybe something in that.

Dom saying I was suspicious for throwing accusations out but thats how you can sort players into good and evil. By getting reactions. And squibbas reaction gives me a more evil vibe than town vibe I guess. Just tried to fall off the radar a bit

As I said earlier with PO being an early bird because of his location and Squibba being a later in the day player, they could easily be finding it hard to communicate who should be killing who each night. Hence two wolves at HH24's two nights in a row

I meant it that way entirely. Evil haven't won this, Good have lost it. All Evil have done is absolutely nothing. They haven't had to. Good are lynching their own and as I said before, were it not for the heroics of HH for viewing Norniron and the additional fortune of the blue potion and silver bullet this game would be finished tonight. Even holding all the aces Good are still going to throw themselves under the bus.

We have two wolves to find. Squibba is one of them. The second is one of those alive now that voted for Diamond. If Mike turns out to be a wolf I'll have his babies. Norway is a bit of a curve ball I admit, but think he's in the same boat as me.

Philly if you think this is bad you should have seen some of the original games......villagers lynched 5 good players with no reply in one of them. So far I would argue a percentage of 50/50 on lynching's to be pretty good.

I accept that I was going to vote for Moog before the whole gunslinger thing. I had thought the seer's message was the wolf's. I admitted that at the time and I'm happy to stand by the logic of my votes as being good.

Harrow Orn - ex-guardian so good.
    miked2006 - unknown.
NorwayHornet - unknown but probably more likely to be good than other unknowns.
    Optimistichornet - good.
    Philippine Orn - unknown.
    PowerJugs - unknown.
    Squibba - unknown.
steve harrow - unknown to others, I know I'm good.
With A Smile - potioneer so presumably good.

Am I right in saying that Mike, PO, PH, Squibba and myself have not been mentioned in messages so far? Norway was declared good by the seer but that might have changed. Only confirmed goods can be trusted so I'm happy to see what Harrow, Opti and WAS are thinking before voting. The 4pm cut off is quite frustrating because I'm at work but will hopefully be able to get on after lunch.

Folk often complain about that but there's a degree of luck in who the seer views and who the wolves decide to kill. Players who say they "know" someone is good or evil without any evidence have private info, are just guessing or have their own agenda.

  35. PhilippineOrn

Quite, but mankind ought to have advanced since then. I'm seeing little evidence of it. I know I made a fubar, didn't even think about it at the time but noticing, or rather saying I noticed, how perfectly structured one message was a mistake. Less is more. Lesson learned. I made a mistake, same as Opti voting for Diamond. We both acknowledge what we did, me in public even.

The chain reaction clamouring for me because of it is really misplaced. If anybody honestly thinks I'm batting for Bedfordshire then you need to look harder at yourself than me.
