Who would you rather got promotion today. Fulham, thus snuffing any pipe-dreams of the return of Super-Slav; or Colin and his team of sheep-shaggers?

  2. To be honest, I'm more intrigued by the other end of the table - where Fulham, Cardiff or Derby could relegate Reading, Birmingham or Barnsley. Always assuming that Burton extend their winning streak to four.

Just noticed that those games have all started - and Brum lead Fulham 1-0

    Derby 1-up against Barnsley.

Looks like Cardiff going up automatically with Fulham 2-down just before half time.

  5. And Burton going for a Burton, trailing 0-1 at Preston.

Fessi has scored for SheffWed too - time to get him back?

Vydra just scored his 21st of the season. Top scorer in the league.

    Slav chokes again.

  8. 3-0 to Sunderland in the Bottom vs Top clash.

Did they take Ndong back to improve this much?

Hey, remember that Vincent Tan guy who was a bond villain and the Cardiff fans hated him and wanted him out of their club?

He's being carried round on the fans shoulders at the moment.

Colin has done brilliantly to be fair, when he took over last season they were in relegation places. Now back in the top flight. Happy about this as well as Cardiff is always a good away trip.

Hopefully relegation fodder. More likely to go down than Fulham. Who would want to join a club owned by Tan, managed by Colin and have to live near Cardiff ?

Cardiff have just moved ahead of us as 18/19 relegation favourites. Boo. We never win anything.

  14. Not Championship news - but Boreham Wood have just gone ahead at Sutton in their promotion play-off.

Both teams look to be at the beach already, given the amount of what looks like sand on the pitch.

WFC loanee Folivi has the assist for the only goal so far.

Boreham Wood look knackered on a hot sunny day but then they did play on Thursday whereas Sutton have had a week off.

The pitch is a 3G thing and the synthetic nature off it really shows in the sun - it's shining!
If Sutton were to win today & again next week versus Tranmere then they'd have to take the pitch up as the Football League do not allow such things.

Cardiff is one of the better cities in the UK I reckon. That's not saying much admittedly

    Unsurprising if true.

Had a quick browse of a Wolves forum earlier. Seem to be very confident of next season already and a gimmie they'll be above the likes of us. To be fair I do think they will do quite well.

I thought Cardiff was very nice when I played there.
We stayed in the Cardiff Bay Hotel and Tanni-Grey-Thompson (apologies if that is incorrect) had her wedding reception there.
If you think Cardiff is bad, then try Wrexham, that was horrid!

  19. And he's just put B'Wood 3-1 up with 90 seconds left...

I was writing the same haha!

An effort from Andre Grey territory - a yard out and chested in after the ball comes down from a mile high off the bar after a free-kick rattles against it.

    Now 3-2 though!

  21. That was a nervous end to the match - almost befitting Vicarage Road status. 7 minutes of added time which turned out to 8.5 - and B'Wood players limping all over the field.

Tranmere fans will be hoping they don't lose the play off final for the 2nd year in a row.

Bet Middlesbrough win the play-offs then Pulis would have the last laugh !

Pulis and Boro is Wba 2. For all Joka's tactical genius his team choked on their big day.

If Fulham don’t come up, I think that will be them done as a club for sometime. They have some quality players that have attracted a lot of Prem interest and they need promotion for those players to stay. I would also imagine Joka will be off as well. Really hope Fulham get promoted. They deserve it.

So its between Fulham and Joka, Derby and Vydra, Middlesbrough and Britt Asombalonga. Can't see any reason to wish Villa success especially with 'captain, leader, leg-end' leading them out. Tough one to call. Think, like Wolves, Villa would throw money about in the summer, making them more of a threat.
Think I would prefer Fulham or Derby.

I put Boro in my bet on the four divisions but as Mansfield have failed I don't much care for them.
I'd like Fulham,as they were my Grandad's team but I fear they may choke.

Was one of their best players when fit.

Anya never seems to play now .

When we had Forsyth he was much much younger and very raw, you could see that he would be alright in the future but the club moved on faster than he would develop.

  33. Fulham 1-0 up. And looking very decent.

Fulham deserve to be in front but Fredricks was very lucky with that stamp .
