Looks like he could be signing for us? http://ht.ly/jyrO30jCh9P https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fran_Sol
"Watford and Willem II enjoy a positive relationship, with Hornets sending Obbi Oulare to the Dutch outfit on-loan last season." I would have thought that was enough to sour any relationship to be honest.
I could be wrong but I think we've been linked with him before, sol there could be something in this.
Good in the air with a left foot like a wand (in Dutch pub football), Willem fans luv him. Imagine Gabbiadini, but with goals.
It's always a risk buying strikers from the Eredivisie, but he's joint second highest scorer despite Willem II languishing in 14th, with 16 goals in 30 games. Based on his highlights he looks to be a good all-rounder with all the attributes required to be a solid #9: sharp, two-footed, good in the air, can take penalties, not massively overweight. I hope this comes to fruition.
Looks like Antwerp's DoF and Gino's best pal Mogi Bayat were sitting together on Saturday as well according to Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur. I wonder if an Antwerp player is heading this way? Or maybe they were here to sort out Oulare's future?
Spanish, 5'11'. Played 8 years in the Real Madrid youth teams. Quick, two footed and scores.........Probably relatively cheep. What's not to like?
I'm pretty sure the scientific calculation for converting 16 Eredivisie goals equals around 0.3 Premier league goals.
I think he could be the exception to the made it Holland/carp in England rule. I hope we sign him. At the very least his angular frame and apparent lack of a weight problem will make a change.
The chaps will think we’ve promoted a free kick dummy to the first team squad. Typical Gino penny pinching.
For some reason, this keeps opening & announcing itself to the whole premium economy cabin. A lot of midwesterners who may well have Nordic roots. Big news! The seat next to me is definitely, hopefully, empty.
And Suarez. Bony was also a success for Swansea. However, the issue is that for every one of those high goal-scoring strikers from the Eridevisie who have also done the business in the Prem, there are also one or two of the likes of Alfonso Alves, Jon Dahl Tomasson, Mateja Kezman, Vincent Janssen, Siem de Jong and Jozy Altidore who have been absolutely woeful.
