http://www.dhnet.be/sports/football/mercato/lukebakio-en-route-pour-watford-5a6f8f00cd7083db8bd71711 Seven months after arriving in Mambourg, Dodi Lukebakio is already leaving Charleroi. It is very close to Watford and the Premier League . In recent weeks, the situation was increasingly tense around the median which chained disappointing performances and which failed to adapt to the philosophy of Felice Mazzù. To avoid destabilizing his dressing room for the rest of the season, the management, who had just bought the player in Anderlecht by raising the option of 1.5 million, decided to separate from Lukebakio. Never heard of him but he's a 20 year old winger according to Transfermarkt.
So a bad egg in the dressing room or just somebody wanting a move? One for the future I guess unless they hope for a Richarlison type impact.
If it's already unstable surely bring in something else unstable to balance out the initial instability?
http://www.sudinfo.be/2054322/artic...leterre-pour-negocier-son-transfert-a-watford He's in England to seal the deal.
Apparently he blows hot and cold, according to the Belgian site. Let's hope he can keep the hot tap running for the rest of the season
Looks a bit like a bloke I saw leaving Sopwell House hotel this morning. He looked like a footballer flanked by a couple of agents, and I did wonder if it was someone Watford had been linked to, but I only saw them for a couple of seconds as I was passing so can't be sure. Time for some Chalobah style CSI investigation I reckon.
I think that will probably be the big money signing that St Albans are bringing in from Milan in their drive to achieve promotion to the national league.
I wonder is this the attacker that AL referred to? Hopefully this is in addition to that attacker Sent from my G3311 using Tapatalk
Adam Leventhal reckons it's happening https://twitter.com/AdamLeventhal/status/958384162683179009 #WatfordFC transfer update Anderlecht winger Dodi Lukebakio who has been on loan at Charleroi to join tomorrow. 20 year old, Belgium U21 international.
Yes my thoughts too. This guy may be good for the future but doubt he's ready to impact the first 11 this season if he couldn't get in the first team at Chareroi.
