Come on, you know what we're like with injuries. You really want to go into the second half of the season with Watson and Capoue as the only cover again?
He will have been sold for spare parts long before then. And in the meantime, who can play the Chalobah role ?
Ordinarily I would agree but when are Hughes & chalobah actually back? The club always seem out on their estimations. We are the only club where a knock is a season ending injury
There appears to be a Bermuda Triangle effect at Colney. Players who are injured, enter the medical department and are never seen again or if they do return, like Prodl, are clearly borrowed from The Hare and Hounds!
De Bruyne got chopped in half against Palace, hobbled out of the stadium then played 80 mins yesterday! It's incredible how long our players are out for after such minor injuries.
A couple of peeps in my office, who are Sunderland fans reckon this fella is pretty good - "definitely premier league standard". Has had injuries, but they think he should be playing regularly in. their side Make of that what ...etc.
When I glanced at a Sunderland site yesterday, the thinking appeared to be that Sunderland were in dire need of cash and he was the best chance of garnering some. Most didn't want him to go but saw it as inevitable due to their predicament.
By today's standards, that was hugely impressive by KdB. If anyone in the league has earnt a day off, it's him. His performance at the Vic was one of the classiest I can remember.
Our medical team are the definition of incompetence. They can’t ever even put estimates on returns. Is Kiko out for another week. A month? 3 months? 6 months? Utterly useless.
They must produce estimates internally though. Surely? I think it's the communication of it that breaks down.
I genuinely don’t think they have a clue. Imbeciles stealing a living. Prodl got a knock for Austria. Result? Out for 3 months.
Spoke to my Sunderland supporting colleague at work, he reckons he is good and would be useful for us with better players around him than he has there.
Chris Coleman said they have received no bids for any players. "Are we going to lose any? Possibly. As of yet we’ve had no bids for any of our players and football being football you get agents ringing up. Until you get that offer in writing we’ve had nothing for nobody." Also stated he has no money to spend so can see Ndong leaving this window.
Santi Cazorla seems to have disappeared into a black hole. Did he take the wrong turning in London Colney & end up on our treatment table? If so, I hope Deeney's 'no cojones' comment doesn't refer to a critical misdiagnosis leading to unnecessary surgery on the diminiative Spaniard.
We will just about manage until then in midfield. Our flanks are so exposed it's causing the centre of the defence to be exposed in turn. And if we cannot sort that out then we are always going to concede. If we could get in a midfielder of quality then fine but Ndong is not what I think we should be looking at.
I agree, we have been begging for another midfielder, doucoure clearly struggled over the Christmas period, and when we had Cleverley suspended and doucoure next match our midfield options were terrible, chalobah doesn’t look to be back any time soon, this guy is perfect to sit back break up play and let doucoure bomb on
Coleman confirms a few loan bids but they want an obligation to buy Sent from my G3311 using Tapatalk
I think this kills any deal from us. Why would we agree to take Ndong at the end of the season if his loan does not work out? If he was that good Sunderland would not be where they are and furthermore he is carrying an injury at present. Let's look elsewhere.
He's not injured. And are you suggesting that Sunderland are where they are because of Ndong?? He hasn't even been playing!
He's been injured but is fit now but doesn't want to play for them. So he's got an attitude problem which is an even bigger issue but we seem to make it work with the other ****s in this squad.
Just been shown a straight red against Cardiff. Get him in quick so he can be another player who picks up a wage whilst not playing.
