Watford Legends now has a new owner and after a few months of hard work by said new owner it is now live again. The site has been tidied up and looks far better than we ever had it looking (not difficult I know...) in readiness for some upcoming new content.

I believe the chap who has taken it on posts on here - I'll leave it to him to identify himself.

I wish him luck and hope he has plenty of Neil Cox style interviews and not many Graham Simpson style phone calls :)

    Enjoy.

He is too big time to do an interview with Watford Legends...being the superstar he was.

You've already bagged one we spent a lot of time trying to get hold of!

It is a cracking interview and you've got the site looking amazing. Looking forward to reading many more.

    Nice.

I always remember Gali because he was considered a luxury player but turned out to be one of the highlights of a terrible season. Think it was the only decent signing TBI made and now we find out that he really made the transfer himself.

I don’t suppose you asked if he wanted a game on Saturday? I know a team that needs a decent centre back!

I'd have Galli as a manager, um First team coach, never mind a player. He'd be incredible and would certainly sort out the defence!

I enjoyed reading that interview. Thanks. Amazing that a player at the end of his career who was only with us for a season is a bit of a legend.

I remember a chant sung to Lip Up Fatty.

Great interview and nice to know he enjoyed the season despite it being a disaster on the pitch and financially.

So would I! I'd seen Galli's name mentioned some time back at one of the times the club was looking for a new Head Coach, hence why I asked him if he'd ever considered going for the role, but he was insistent it wasn't going to happen and he's very happy in his current job. Really nice guy and very passionate about his time at the club.

    Great read! Love these interviews.

It always amazes me how much foreign players love playing in England! Also quite surprising he thought the atmosphere at Vicarage Road was amazing? Surely he’s playing in some nosier places in his time.

I think generally they feel its more supportive here than abroad where teams get booed after about 5 minutes and fans can protest at the training ground etc.

Mind you he did play in the Vialli era which wasn't exactly positive and certainly had nothing to shout about!

Or its just good PR ....

The next three interview from the "Enjoy the Game" series are now live. Give yourself time to read the John Ward one, it's pretty extensive! The other two are George Reilly and Charlie Palmer.

Really excellent interview with John Ward. As you warned, it is a long old read, but his insight into the mind and workings of God were very worth the read - thanks.

I grew up on the same Aylesbury housing estate as Charlie.. and used to hang about with his brother. Was interesting reading what he said about the cup final especially as he was the one who sorted my ticket out for me. Sounds like he might have given me his own! I always thought it was a shame he never made it further with the Horns but then like he said he had Pat Rice in his position and then we brought in David Bardsley. Top competition that.

PS So have the Enjoy the Game people taken over the legends site entirely?

No - an explanation of the background to the Enjoy the Game series of interviews is here.

There are more Watford Legends interviews planned, but as you can appreciate, it takes time to track players down and schedule time to do the interviews. I'm hoping to have the next one done in the next week or so.

I've just read Harry's and George Reilly's one: both have lots of stuff about MoJo. It's such a shame that MoJo never talks to the press (out on the lash with Charlie Nicholas!!!) because of all that Weegee bollox. It's such a shame.

I believe Lionel Birnie did manage to interview MoJo for Enjoy the Game so there may be one coming up. But I do remember him saying that it was hard work to get him to do it.
