This bloke is terrible. End product similar to Anya but he doesn't track back. As many assists/goals as you'd expect from Amrabat but doesn't win any 50-50s. As ineffective as Jurado but without the little bits of skill that lead to nothing but at least make you think there's some talent there. Should be getting far more criticism than he currently is. Does nothing week in, week out.
Only because Pereyra was injured early on and still isn't fully fit and Hughes (who kept Carrillo out of the team when he came back from Peru) also got injured.
I’d agree he’s been much worse since qualifying for the WC and I do wish he’d pop up with a goal or two but to compare him with Amrabat/Jurado is a joke. He’s our most dynamic attacker behind Richarlison and he pins teams back. He had a dip in form and he was back to his best today.
Excellent first half when he tackled and intercepted well and didn't lose the ball when he dribbled. Faded in the second half but miles better than the useless berk we've seen up to now. Also seemed to be the sprinter we'd been told about but never seen. Is he fitter now, perhaps?
This seems to be the first season in a couple of years where he’s started regularly, so that could be a factor
Looked like a man who enjoyed his Christmas cuy yesterday. I enjoyed the delicacy last Christmas in Peru.

The comments on that are interesting HUNTERS OF THE LAGARTIXAS • 4 hours and 6 minutes ago GAZA05 is the typical lizard: it does not gain anything, it does not celebrate victories. But he laughs a lot when he thinks Benfica will not win. As for Carrillo, the lizards refused 12 million from Leicester. They lost the player. They lost the next championship. Benfica has invested and will make a profit. And they laugh at you ????? LOLOLOLOLOLOL MOST RECENT User Platinum Medallion Premium Medallion RODRIGUES51 • 2 minutes ago Sincerely. I even admire this lizard. So many years with virtually nothing to gain, they were fortunate in theirs to have a Nephew and a Ricciard who saved them when they were already in deep agony. To relieve their suffering, they turn to our Benfica to vent, to make a mistake and so they are more relieved. I feel sorry for these people. Reply Report User Platinum Medal ROGENDU: • There are 57 minutes and 39 seconds The Redcord always patronizing the Playbook. It seems that it was the Cartilian Carlos Janela writing this. Of the 7M who paid to have it "zero cost" do not talk, right? It is for these and others that I have very little respect for Marco Silva and Mourinho. There are practically two Carnide employees. The Great Craque Carrilheu thrusts yet another!
"Yesterday, reports from Portugal started claiming Watford have told Benfica of their intention to sign Andre Carrillo on a permanent deal. The player’s agent reportedly already met Benfica’s president at the Estádio da Luz to explain Carillo’s desire to stay in England" "today, Jornal de Notícias brings some information on the same case, but goes straight to the point. They say ‘Carrillo is sold’, as Watford will use the buying option at the end of the season."
Interesting little piece about Watford players' Mr Fixit. A bit about Carillo although he is not mentioned by name: http://www.worldfootball.net/news/_n3070590_/watfords-mr-fixit-always-on-call/ "There was one that was actually very funny -- my first baby was two months old so the hours you can sleep, you try to sleep. I received a phone call from a player, I'm not going to say who. It was the international break and he was going to play for his national side in South America. "It was 3:00 in the morning. I was a bit worried, why is he calling at this time? And he said: 'Lorenzo, one question, how do I get from Terminal Three to Terminal Four at Heathrow?' -- at 3:00 in the morning! I said, 'listen, I'll call you back in a couple of minutes; and I Googled the bus route in Heathrow."
Wouldn't have been Carrillo, he gave a similar interview to the club last season telling the same story. Could have been Paredes or Ibarbo?
http://sportwitness.co.uk/club-hopeful-watford-will-close-e20m-deal-maybe-good-reason-bargain/ Surprised if true. Carillo's form has improved recently, but I certainly don't think he's worth €20m.
Paying a little over the odds but I'm not upset if that's the price. He's a solid 1st team contender and gives us good depth on thar right wing.
The only reason for signing Carillo for €20million would be so as to have another colossal waste of money to distract attention away from Gray.
Is any of this story below true? I don't know. But it does reinforce my uneasy feeling that I'd be glad to see the back of Carrillo in the Summer. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/03/0...s-permanent-watford-deal-could-be-off/page/1/
He clearly hasn’t bought into WFC. In a way, why should he post Sssssnake? The only way he’ll be here for pre season is if Pozzo forgets he exists.
