Yes at 1.9 million pounds per place this season I guess that is small fry when we could be selling players for 30/40 million and buying replacements for a third or less! I guess for the first time in three seasons the club will not be worrying about relegation but working out " the gearing " required to take us to the next level! In Gino and Scott we have some clever people, us supporters are so so lucky!
Hello Jim, this is Ming from China. My sources in the Far East tell me that Doucoure is the first name on the team sheet when all the players are fit. Have your Western sources told you otherwise then? I will be quite annoyed if my sources are wrong on this, and my impeccable ITK status is blemished as a result. Hopefully Tim will be logging on some time today so we can get an update from his sources. And remember Jim, as the Chinese say: dú shū xū yòng yì, yī zì zhí qiān jīn. "When reading, don’t let a single word escape your attention; one word may be worth a thousand pieces of gold".
Hi Ming, I would appreciate it if you copied me in on your correspondence to Jim. I am hoping to build a network of sources and your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Best wishes Tim
Hello Tim I well understand your position and I will strive to include you in future. I hope I did not offend. I am very concerned at this news that Kaboul is the first name on the team sheet. This does not correspond with the information I have been given by my sources. I am concerned that Jim is withholding information from the network. As you know, the sharing of information is the cornerstone of our work. And remember Tim, as the Chinese say: Chángjiāng hòul*ng tuī qiánl*ng. "The younger generation replaces the old".
Hi Ming Thanks for your prompt response which is much appreciated. On your point about Kaboul, I have heard that this is not true. If we are going to go by the theory of Chángjiāng hòul*ng tuī qiánl*ng then we must assume this piece of information is, as our counterparts across the pond say, "fake news". Jim will no doubt be in touch in due course, with information that will hopefully put this matter to bed. On another note, please check out my Bebo and MySpace pages, where I will be holding webinars about the importance of information sharing in our field of work. All the best Tim
My sources suggest you should think carefully before you type, CaveManHornet. As the Chinese say: yì yán jì chū, sì mǎ nán zhuī. "A word spoken can never be taken back."
I think the tie has come for an In-The -Knowoff. Jim, Tim and Ming to post pieces of inside knowledge and we’ll see who’s turns out to be the most accurate.
What is it with all this hounding/hate/expressions of parody love for ITK Jim? I don't know or care if he had previous account and although I am dubious of the whole ITK status it seems the reaction to him is a bit over the top and unwarranted and at times bordering on semi online bullying. Don't get me wrong I love a good lark but is this stalking really the way to carry out merry japes?
I I just assumed that the ITK series were aliases of another registered poster. If one of them is real, then mods, feel free to delete my post.
As far as I know ITKJim was set up as a 'proper' (ie not a parody) account. Some users thought it was Hornet23 who commonly fell out with a lot of posters on here, but as far as I know that has never been confirmed. I think the ITKMing and ITKTim are poor attempts at humour from another poster.
Banter is one thing, unfortunately this is using the excuse "it's banter", possibly in an attempt at humour to target an individual.
Considering that 'ITKJim' regularly insults other posters, an argument could be made that, as the Chinese don't say: if you dish it up often and badly, be prepared for a burning kitchen that you should probably vacate.
Hello Tim, Ming here from China again. I have tried to contact you via Bebo, but perhaps you are busy here furnishing these forum users with information from your sources. I am a little concerned about Jim. He has not replied to your previous correspondence, nor mine. Have you been in contact with him? Did he attend your webinar? Apologies for my absence, I was busy hosting a meet-and-greet with one of my sources here in Beijing. I can confirm that Chalobah's recovery is "progressing well" by the way. Do please let me in the loop. I know I am far away, but as we say in China: "hăi nèi cún zhījĭ, tiānyá ruò bĭ lín" (A bosom friend afar brings distant lands near).
Yes. Because Duxberry has said he expects these players to stay for a while. Obviously always a chance they move given the stupid fees clubs pay these days but I’d say it’s entirely realistic at this stage to say our best players will be staying.
Defender that are better than what we have and can stay fit will be top of the list. That isn’t even really debateable.
ITKJim called me weird once on here for reasons I still don’t know and were never explained. I think he must’ve typed it out on the way back from Sporting Lisbon vs Boavista whilst on one of his many Portuguese scouting missions....
Time to ship out Deeney and get in Adam Le Fondre. Also we can afford Craig Mackaill-smith now and he's a Watford fan
Bizarrely I do remember why...though God knows why I do (unless I am him), it was he thought Palmer's shirt collection was your own hoarde. Going Down is the hilarious* Ming/Tim....Singh is already in the pipeline. *By hilarious of course I mean unhilarious or inhilarious or something else entirely until my spell checker acknowledges a real word.
Firstly I can't see any of our most important players going at the end of the season. I think the club are really trying to move onto a different level on and off the pitch and it is more important than ever that we keep improving our squad. I think playing our cards close to our chests with a couple of loanees with an option to buy in the new year may be our best option. However if Gabbiadini is available then he would be a massive improvement on our current forwards.
