What ridiculous low bid will we receive in Jan then and from who? I'm going to say Spurs with £17m plus a 17 year old nobody has heard of.
At the risk of summoning up SS Obergruppenfuhrer or whatever he was named,Spurs will surely have to sell before they buy. They won't be in their new stadium next season and they are spending an inordinate amount on their training complex too.
Guessing the rest of this list isn't made up of wingers then (although a case could be made against Eriksen here, although he's been used a fair bit on the wing this season)
I am baffled. It may be worth considering the point you are trying to make, comparing it to the conversation other people were were happily having (the substance and concept of which is understood by the participants), and then deciding whether or not your comments have any relevance to said conversation, because it isn't adding anything, and it certainly isn't taking anything away from it. Your point that comparing different players of different positions as being futile is fair, if what is the position that is under discussion. But as has been explained, and as is understood by those having the conversation, that is not what is being discussed. But feel free to demonstrate further your skills of perception as you think fit...
I don't mind that Richarlison is wanted if a team wants him I have absolute faith that they will have to pay a ridiculous amount of money for him and even then we will add a sell on clause.
I was going to post a picture of a baffle. don't think anyone would recognise one though, so just pretend in your head that there is a picture of what you think a baffle is instead of all this text here.
When one "went" in my washing machine drum the engineer explained that they're actually called "beater bars" .
I’ve pictured a frilly French garment for men that goes around the neck. Like a snood but for wearing to posh parties or ambassadorial engagements.
Can we change the thread title to 'Richarlison Sold'...according to News Now...either Spurs, Arsenal or China but he's definitley been sold.
Richarlison wants guaranteed 1st team premiership football and don't forget the influences of a Portuguese speaking manager and Gomes as a Mentor. Can't see him moving on for a season or two but I think Manure may come knocking after that if his form continues.
Every FS1E or AP50 ring road racer knows that THIS is a baffle. It's what you unscrew and remove from inside your exhaust pipe. Doesn't make you actually go any faster, but makes it sound super quick....
I also had a Fizzie. Terror of the ring road in those days. They were always trying to make a 100mph moped and didn't really achieve it before the law got changed and they restricted them to 30mph. I had a gold coloured fizzie that I smashed into a lady Alfa Romeo driver who pulled out on me up St Albans Road and wrote off and then a blue Suzuki AP50. What colour fizzie was yours HF?
If a big club like West Ham, Stoke or Palace come knocking in January, there is pretty much no way we will be able to hold onto young Richie. The Pozzos' goal will be to maximise the amount we can recoup. Given his age, talent and potential, anything less than £18m or so would be insulting. I will wish him well when he goes though.
Mine was this colour.... you gave me a proper flash back there. I used to travel 40 miles to and from college on it every week...... Then I got this Bad boy 70's icon
Nice! And still on the L plates undoubtedly. I passed my test, but I still liked the two strokes and my final ever bike was as below with the same colour. You'll remember the ferocity of the competition between the Yamahas, Kawasakis, Suzukis and Hondas round the ringroad's armco racetrack. The RD400 looked like a 250, but left the learner boys in the dust.....
@reids I was responding to the OP who said that Rich would walk into any of the Top 4 or something along them lines. So I listed most the big teams front 3. Ozil is a CAM but if he WAS to play for Arsenal, he'd take Sanchez or Ozil's position hence the comparison!
Beautiful deathtrap! Sounded and smelt wonderful - that two stroke oil and smooth power delivery. My brother had a 50cc red Italian job that he claimed did 65mph and ate Fizzies from the lights. I had an RD200 silver Yammy with lethal Japanese tyres in the wet which I changed for Avons. Always liked the sound of the three pot Kwackers. Back to Richarlison who is nearly as quick. Really hope Gino keeps him to the end of the season. Might need him in our first FA Cup final win! His value will only go up if he makes Brazil world cup squad as wild card back up. You heard it here first!
I had a Suzuki GT185 which had been in a big smash at some point. It had no speedo - only a rev counter - and of course was completely minus baffles. The unfortunate thing was that it had a twisted frame from the crash, so you had to go round every corner bolt upright or it threw you off. I reckon I spent as much time skidding along the road on my arse behind that thing as I did riding it. Got busted on it in the end though. £112 fine and two endorsements. Stiff.
Lad's going nowhere:- Duxbury says: "we will never sell a player in January who we believe will help us. Nobody will be sold that we don’t want to. None of the players making an impact now will go.” So that's our stall set out. Now try and test us you foodchain fackers who can get him if they want him. Test us, go on. See what happens.
Yep, he said it and he meant it. Getting it in early before the nonsense starts. https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...charlison-and-co-arent-for-sale-a3703986.html
"The more immediate issue is we have planning permission for a new training-ground facility, which we hope to start building in the summer. We have had a look at training facilities on the continent and we want to build something that will promote a team bond, somewhere for everyone to interact. It will cost £5m-6m." Wow, didn't know that.
