When you see the games on tomorrow it's no wonder they are trying to hawk the big big 5 in action today. What a shocking Sunday to try and generate interest in. Anyway we are going to win 2-0 today.
The problem with the shoutbox is that the rivers are streamed from different time zones, then they are all out of sync with each other and way behind the 3CR broadcast. So while one poster is jizzing about a silky bit of passing play that we oh so nearly scored from, another is knicker wetting about Kabasele slicing a through ball over Gomes’ head or Britos passing to their star player. We have to win today to keep the 'win every other game' record we have this season. I wonder what the record run of doing that is? The sort of stat that's impossible to find me thinks.
Stelling, Le Tissier, Merson, Thompson and Nicholas very complimentary about us today. Never thought they would see Watford playing the type of possession and progressive football that we did at Chelsea last week and, score aside, were the better team.
Back 4 returns thank god. Very surprised to see Deeney start over Gray again. Maybe Marco given up with Gray already?
Stoke have 3 capable and strong centre backs in Zouma, Shawcross & Wimmer. Can't see Deeney get much change out of them. Allen & Fletcher in central midfield, Doccoure, Capoue & Cleverley should definitely win that battle. Jese dropped for Sobhi who Stoke fans value highly and have wanted to see play more. His and Diouf's pace along with Shaqiri's one in every 6 games magic and Choupo Moting's height are our only worries. On paper, we should win this.

I'm not so sure . Most games between the "top" 6 have been boring as 4rse lately with the very odd exception . Hopefully sky and bt have realised and show us and a couple of others more often

All the hype around us can finally disappear and we can go back to concentrating on staying up, not getting into Europe. It really is frustrating that teams know they will most likely score from a corner, yet we still haven't sorted it out. Stoke, very much like West Brom, were always going to try and win this game from a long ball or set piece, that's what they do best. So why on earth no-one is marking Fletcher on the edge of the box, or even zonally marking that area is ridiculous. We are not out of this game yet but, if Stoke score the next goal then we might as well call it day. I hate games like this. We are better than them on paper, but we have rocked up with that attitude and that's the problem. We think that Stoke will just roll over for us. It was so simple, play with the same fight, balls, guts and passion like we did against Chelsea and we win. Oh no, not us, I hope Silva kicks them all up the backside at HT. We are playing so sloppy.
