Thought this was a good news story as it highlights his WFC supporting credentials http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business...er-thinking-have-restored-mcdonalds-fortunes/ Steve Easterbrook-ex WBGS pupil ( i think) doing well as CEO of McDonalds-the 6th largest employer in USA with 375,000 staff and now in the 2 years since he took over has seen the share price up 50% to £125bn (thats bigger than BP) as he changes the delivery of their product
I have no problem with McDonalds sponsorship. If they can take over the catering as well. The McHornet burger. Uses foreign sourced meat, recipe changes every season, looks promising but ulimately dissapointing.
At least one of the mascots and a linesman (well linesperson) look like they've been at the burgers big time.
I love going into McDonalds to grab a coffee when junior Diamond is doing her football training as I always leave feeling much better about myself.
Crikey-its all going wrong for us-now even a "high profile" fan is showing poor judgement https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-50283720
I think it's a bit ridiclous not being allowed to get together with another employee. If both parties consent to the relationship, and it doesn't interfere with working relationships, I fail to see the harm.
The problem is every single place I've worked at has had either an official policy on workplace relationships (it's a big no-no) or an unofficial one (keep it very discrete and discreet - usually universities but students are AOB).
Not a bad idea or with the £40m pay off he is getting he could actually put in more money than the Pozzos have lent to the club-£25m as at June 18
