Despite the inflated entrance fee, strangely looking forward to this. New manager, new tactics and hopefully a few beers in the Sun.
Could've put some effort into the match preview if you're looking forward to it that much. Biggest game of the season so far and you've only given it one line.
Played for both clubs: Dennon Lewis, Chez Isaac, and the man, the legend Bobson Bawling. Scratch that, none of them have actually played for us, just been on our books.
Greatest player name ever, narrowly ahead of his "peer" Jazzi Barnum-Bobb. I say "peer" because supposedly Bobson is only 21, lol: Got some skills though...
I like visiting Woking, but only because they've got a giant sculpture of a War of the Worlds tripod in the middle of the town.
Jeff Wayne is a very keen tennis player and a charming, droll chap. When my sister in law asked him why he had a hole in his tennis shoe he replied "Just lucky I guess!"
Ah, the match previews are back! Looks like some actual football is on its way. Looking forward to this, solely so I actually get to see some Watford again. I know it'll be a different XI each half, interspersed with various U23s, but hopefully it will be a chance to see what Marco Silva has in mind. What do we know about him so far? Is he a 4-2-3-1 kind of guy?
No-one would have believed, in the early 21st century, that Watford would be a Premier League club. Muff fans, with minds immeasurably inferior to ours, regarded us with envious eyes. And slowly but surely...they drew their plans against us.
No it isn't, but I find the fact that you consider there to be such a thing as: A) A 'decent' Wetherspoons and B) A very good all you can eat Chinese to be quite revealing.
These things do exist; it is all relative. A) A Decent Wetherspoons: Just smells slightly of wee wee and despair, not overpoweringly so. And it only takes 20 minutes to get served behind the queues of women getting coffee. B) Not leaving with food poisoning
Please note: We recommend that, for personal safety reasons, women and young children do not walk unaccompanied to The Laithwaite Community Stadium. It would be advisable to take a taxi from Woking Station direct to the ground, costing approximately £4. This is on their website. Is Woking really that bad?
We need to put out a full strength for the game and start taking these pre season competitions seriously.
I've spent the last 10 minutes reading and re-reading this post over and over, and nope, I still don't get it...
Seems strange to be saying it at this stage, but this is a must win game. After Wally left, despite keeping us up, Silva has everything to lose and nothing to gain. A narrow win will be seen as a failure, but it's the least he can get away with.
