What a great job the guy has! He is a very lucky boy as virtually anybody who has slipped on a pair of GK gloves could do the job he is being asked to do, and I'm not so sure they would even have had to ever slip on a pair of gloves :rolleye1:
Why haven't I heard him on 3CR lately? He's the best they've had, and hopefully will go on to have a great career on the coaching or media side.
Yes, but when Gomes is out through injury again and Arlauskas gets sent off mid-match, how much would you envy Gilmartin coming onto the pitch under those conditions?
He criticised the performance of some of his teammates (quite justifiably!) and the club hasn't allowed him back on since.
By all accounts he has used his time wisely and done all his coaching badges now, meant to be a very good coach, helping out the young keepers.
Supposed to be one of the guys who gives the dressing room some light hearted banter but that might have changed with the number of overseas players we have!
That's the problem - I don't know how good a 'keeper he was but as a journalist/summariser he was one of the best I've ever heard.
Him and Jon Marks got a little too close and something had to break. You heard it here first @ #itk#wfc#outthecloset
