Jingle dink, jingle dink, jingle all the....

"Hang on, Jingle dink?" one of the villagers exclaimed? "That sounds very peculiar!"

The church bell tower had been through a couple of renovations in the past. The great fire back in the old 12th parsec that destroyed all but the bell itself, the lightning strike that turned the bell an odd shade of orange, and Hurricane Klingon that blew all but one of the tiles off the roof and swept the large wooden door all the way to Mrs Miggins' pie shop over to the west.

But it had never gone jingle dink!

The villagers all ran over to the old bell tower to find out what was the cause of the 'dink'. As they arrived outside, a sudden fear gripped them all. steve harrow goaded HH24 to look through the stained glass window to see what was inside.

"You're the tallest" proclaimed steve, too fearful to look himself so slouching back on his heals to appear much shorter.

It worked and HH24, tipped on her toes to see what was inside. Everywhere seemed quiet except for... hang on... what was that slumped over in the corner of the room? A Sack, a bin...

It was not a sack or a bin. It was HarrowOrn, with a the church bell clapper protruding from his chest sitting in a pool of his own blood. But what colour was that blood? WHAT COLOUR?!

"BLACK... IT'S BLACK" screamed HH24 as she danced around! The villagers all excitedly piled into the bell tower and ran up to HarrowOrn - at last one of the EVIL were gone...

But as they stared down, what had at first seemed black was not so black. The stained glass window had at first given a false impression and to their horror HarrowOrn's blood was red.

    HarrowOrn was GOOD!

The silence in the room was louder than any church bell could possibly make. The villagers looked around at each other wondering who else may have been devoured in the past night?

But no one else was. For Rudolph had played yet another blinder. The wolf had approached the sleeping Grrwood carrying Grrwood's very own sharpened steel tipped chimney sweep un-blocker.

"Un-block this" it whispered as it raised the sharpened steel tipped chimney sweep un-blocker above it's head ready to strike, when from no-where it felt a slash across it's very own chest, and an unfamiliar red glow filled the room. Rudolph's fiercely sharp antlers had swiped at this Weredeer knocking it backwards howling in pain. It tried to fight back but Rudolph was too strong and eventually the evil beast big a retreat to lick it's wounds.

Rudolph had saved the day for the second night in a row. Maybe things were looking up for team GOOD?

The village is open. Voting closes at 8pm.

    So we have:

    8 of us left

    2 Weredeer
    1 Traitor
    1 Tinker
    1 Mason
    1 Seer
    1 Rudolf
    1 normal villager

Even without non-voters someone of significance is surely going today

  3. Cassetti's Beard

    Cassetti's Beard First Team

Well i'm a villager so you've got an important role then

Sorry guys, I gone made booboo. Got 1 word wrong on initial characters in the original roll call.

    I've gone with:

    1 x Alpha Weredeer
    1 x Extra Weredeer
1 x Jack Frost (The Traitor) should have been Tinker
1 x Santa Claus (The Seer)
    1 x Rudolph (The Guardian)
    3 x Snowmen (Masons)
    8 x Simple Elf Villagers

So there was never a Traitor in this game.

Steve harrow has been far too quiet for far too long, as has Happy Hornet. One of these have to be seen.

Not sure where it leaves CB

    Hey,

Yes I know, I was wrong yesterday. I honestly thought Jellyman was Evil and hope you can understand my reasoning for believing so. The first message yesterday was definitely not from me so we are dealing with a clever wolf.

So far I can confirm out of the players left - Grrwood & Cassetti's Beard are both Good from preview viewings.

I also have my suspicions about Squibba who seems to be stirring quite a bit and his solo vote for Jellyman, even though he was being lynched anyway due to inactivity, stunk a little. He is definitely my next viewing unless Day 4 throws a spanner in the works.

However in the end, down to another gut feeling I viewed Steve Harrow and AT LAST I got a bloody EVIL. One down, one to go, let's do a Liverpool in '05 and turn this around Team Good!

Ooh, interesting. So either Steve is indeed evil or he's the tinker. I feel sorry for him if it's the latter as I've been the tinker before and it's so frustrating - you know you're good but the Seer has genuinely viewed you as evil. The question is, whether this is really the Seer or the wolf trying to pick off other players.

The fact that there's actually no traitor should push the odds in our favour as there's no one on team evil who knows who the other evil players are - no one's got their backs, in other words.

Otter, I'm not hiding this morning - small matter of the school run and Christmas tree assembling (no mean feat when you decide to go for an 8ft one) to get through before I could come on here properly.

Unless we are sure this is the wolf then it is the first message declaring an evil. Even if we get a second message odds suggest we should go for steve.

Eliminating him if he is the tinker, and we trust this is the seer's message, isn't necessarily a bad move either

So Steve straight question for you weredeer or traitor? You'll probably be going either way tonight

Thanks Guardian - had assumed I was a goner last night!

I assume Harrow Orn was picked off for being particularly vocal - I think it's important to spend some time looking through his messages the last few days, particularly yesterday. Still struggling to understand the lynching of SLB yesterday with 2 other villagers being named. With Jellyman being named good (mason?) I'm still looking at you CB. Steve Harrow too having been named evil has to be looked at.

HOWEVER the timing of Meh's message this morning with the update about the tinker looks suspicious - something has reminded him of the tinker's existence in the game. Just a theory but I think that the seer may just have viewed the tinker. Bit of a risk to just ignore the fact that someone has been named evil though.

Think we have to wait to see if we get a second message.

The tinker doesn't know they're a tinker. The fact that Jellyman and Opti (on Day1) were described by Meh as "quite good" I assume that they were snowmen, meaning that there is only one snowman left which in effect relegates them to a straight forward villager now.

As there's no traitor (am I correct Meh?) there are two reindeer, a seer, a guardian, and 4 villagers (one of which is a tinker unbeknownst to them).

    Meh can you clarify that?

  16. Cthulhu

I think that is right after the clarification from Meh!

Not going to clarify what is left - you work that out!

I can clarify what you started with:

    1 x Alpha Weredeer
    1 x Extra Weredeer
1 x Jack Frost (The Tinker)
1 x Santa Claus (The Seer)
    1 x Rudolph (The Guardian)
    3 x Snowmen (Masons)
    8 x Simple Elf Villagers

That's a good point about the timing of Meh!'s post about there being a tinker rather than a traitor. I have a horrible feeling that the Seer might have found the tinker. In the absence of any other message it's all we have to go on at the moment, though.

Is it really a good point though..?

Meh was just directly replying to Cthulhu's post so we don't all assume there's a traitor in the game, that's all there was too it I think.

  20. Grrwood

Ah I'd missed that - probably worth ignoring my point then.

    Hey,

I have waited and gone second today, I wanted to see what the weredeer would put. Predictably he/she has AT LAST found an EVIL and scattered that with a few facts that we already know to make it seem believable.

My viewing of Jellyman yesterday was proven correct.

Like the weredeer I suspect Squibba, unlike the weredeer I am not then going to jump randomly to someone else to view. Squibba has come on a few people’s radar at times in the last few days. So more logically than the weredeer I viewed him.

And the results of the Laplandish jury – SQUIBBA is EVIL. We do have a chance to turn this around TEAM GOOD but we need to make the right choice!

Haha, easy for me to say but this stinks of a wolf.

No Seer would be silly enough to go and copy the style of the original message word for word because that would confuse everybody.

Two messages again. Hmmm. I am not sure about either!

  27. steve harrow

    steve harrow Reservist

Well well well. Clearly I know I am good and can fully support the second message being from the seer.
I would remind everyone that the seer would not have asked us to lynch Jellyman yesterday and so there can be no doubt that yesterday's first message was from the seer. This is further confirmed by today's second message from the seer.
You may think either myself or Squibba could be the tinker. That is fair so look at who doubted Jellyman and also doubted the correct order of yesterday's messages. Not me.
I would also say that in no way is CB proven good. Don't let the wolf trick you into accepting this as a fact.

I think that is a good point Squibba, seems to have just copied the style of the first message. Seems wolfy to me

Poor try. I think you know very well that I'm good. Why give credence to a weredeer's message?

  30. steve harrow

Would it? And you think a wolf would be silly enough? I don't know if you're evil or a tinker. I have greater suspicion elsewhere.

Fabulous work by the guardian again.

Hi All, apologies for not being around much again today, last day of my course. If I survive until tomorrow then it's game on.

Squibba for me is the traitor as reading back through his posts he's trying too hard to misdirect. I have to believe message 2 is from the seer.

There's also something seriously wrong about Cassitti's first post as if there's only one true villager left then it certainly isn't him. I know this.

One of those 2 needs to go tonight.

I'm at work. It's now lunch time.

I accept you might be a tinker but you seem to refuse that I could be? Why is that I wonder?

We don't have a traitor. Meh! confirmed

Yesterday I threw an accusation at Squibba that by the end of the day I wasn't sure about.

What I find strange is that yesterday I suggest him and now there's a message saying he's evil; this morning first thing I suggest looking at steve harrow and HAppyHornet and the former is seen as evil.

We have two suspects today of which one is guaranteed evil, my money's on steve harrow being a reindeer. But that's not to say that Alpha has accidentally implicated Beta here and both are in fact evil.
