What Jurado did, plus the things we wanted him to do..

Suspect that if Pereyra was under Quique, he would soon get asked to reel it in so as to focus on the philosophy.

Not knocking it, it worked, but seemed to hold back the players potential rather than reach it.

Shades of a young Douglas Rinaldi in that clip. If he lives up to be even half the player we have a real gem on our hands.

Can't believe the Jurado argument still rages on, Pererya is quite clearly far and away a vastly superior player and has contributed more in 45 minutes than the midget did I'm a season. The played out of position excuse is deeply flawed, as Abdi was played even further out of position but still weighed in with a couple of goals. On Saturday Pererya was at times the furthest player back after he had tracked back to win the ball so he could drive it forward, I'm sure QSF would've had no problems if Jurado had ever once fancied tracking all the way back so he could bring the ball forward.

Pereyra is better than jurado, who was better than abdi. We are progressing.

Jurado was not better than Abdi

Abdi actually got goals and assists, Jurado was a fraud

Has anyone actually argued that Jurado is better in any way, shape or form than Pereyra? I don't think they have.

The reason QSF like Jurado and picked before others is because he did what he was told. If he didn't track back, it is because Quique didn't want him to.

Jurado's haircut was much, much better than Pereyra's nasty combover.

Jurado's reminded me of Robert Gordon playing Davis in the 1982 movie 'The Loveless'

Abdi would be playing in the Spanish top league if he was QSF's mistress as well

That was the moment i jizzed all over the back of the lady's hat, sitting in the seat in front of me. It will be about now, when she discovers her hat feels somewhat crispier than usual. Sorry luv.

A 25 year old shows the whole Watford team how football should be played, never seen a player run back so much to get the ball and press forward I think he will give the whole team a kick up the backside myself.

Genuinely the only part of the game on Saturday that I can remember. I said it on another thread, but this was the moment when I realized that everything was going to be okay this season.

He came here with a big reputation as being the saviour, a star player who the entire team can be built around. How dare he actually live up to it.

Just think had we plumped solely for Boufal we could all be eagerly anticipating him getting fit. Instead we get to watch Pereyra.

No bedding in period for this bloke.

Scored within 10 mins of his debut and has looked brilliant since.

Was given MOT by Sky, BBC and Times for West Ham game.

Am already slightly anxious about him getting injured every time he goes down.

So which club do you think will be the first to be linked with a January move by the high quality British press? I'm going for Arsenal for obvious reasons.

Is Jurado going to be brought up in every thread?

It's not his fault he was daddy favourite, it's not his fault he was played out of position, yes he was poor, yes it didn't work out.

We've brought in better, he's left and I wish him well. The vitriol towards him is pathetic.
