Paco Jemez is the new Granada manager! Great news for Granada, a great manager.

Anybody know what link the Pozzo's still have with Granada, if any? I think initially it was mentioned that the Chinese have a majority stake. So do the Pozzo's still have, say 49%?

Allegations of match fixing in the Granada-Las Palmas game near end of last season being reported in Spain...

"Pina hired me and I was €600,000 cash to pay Las Palmas after Granada won," he told Cardena SER.
"I can't go into detail [about the threats], but Quique Pina is dangerous."
Despite this claim, Guerrero added he expected Pina to deny everything and that he denounced him because he himself has not been paid.

Isn't this a bit like buying drugs then going to the police after you discover you have been ripped off into buying baking powder?

Who is Jose Guerrero anyway? He's not the Las Palmas chairman, manager, the referee nor a player...

That's a good question. Highly doubt he was the Spanish artist who died in 1991.

It is, but it doesn't sound too good does it?

I was in Granada on Holidays last week - didn't manage to get a game in.

However, I was chatting to some Granada fans an apparently we sold the senior team but still have ownership of the Granada B team for one more year.

    Full control relinquished next summer.

I had read the same. Understandable that the Pozzo's arranged things that way, as Granada B is still a "nursery" for several players who probably couldn't be set in a "friendly" environment (avoiding loans) in a short time.

Bochnievicz, Estupinan, Mallè, Aias, Aboagye (and probably some others of the group whom I don't know) are all possible good future players and Spain's third tier is a decent training ground for them. Certainly better than Italy's Primavera or your U23 tournements.

Which one? Son of Telemon or Oelias? The former is strong but the latter has pace.

LOL, he certainly didn't call headlines like Estupinan and Malle (whom both were in the list of the 100 best U18 in the world), but I have seen him in a friendly Udinese Vs UdinesePrimavera a couple of years ago, where he scored two really good goals for the U18 team.
Thus, I still think and hope he'll grow well and will amaze us all, either in Udinese or Watford shirt.
