Agreed - I lived in Pompey when they won the cup and as the entire city was madness for a long time before and after! And rightly so!
The Dirty Ones looked useful against Boro tonight but nothing we can't handle as long we can be assed.
They weren't bad, but Boro are in a slump that's akin to Palace's slump atm, so I'm not too surprised that Leeds drew against them (and gave them a good match whilst we're at it). They'll obviously be a handful if we underestimate them but QSF will make sure we don't.
By the way, our referee for the Leeds game is... ... ... ... .......................................... ... ... ...Michael Oliver.
I am quite worried about this game. Leeds will be up for it, and I cant help thinking that the game will be thought of a bit of a distraction for our club. Hope I'm wrong, as I'd love to stuff 'em!
I bet he wishes he was allowed a light sabre to signal when he awards free kicks but particularly penalties. Boy he loves being dramatic. Twunt.
My guv'nor is a Leeds fan, and he's a nice guy, but aside from that, I have absolutely nothing good to say about Leeds fans.
It once was like that over the whole country. Even in centre of London - like the bomb had dropped - streets almost deserted everyone watching game. The night before every off licence busy (this was before supermarkets stocked booze) with folks stocking up to watch game. Oddly, on a trip back I saw that once more recently - the day of Diana's funeral!
Stolen from Facebook... Hi guys and girls ❤ Sorry to be the bearer of bad news... But... We have been informed that 'Leeds' fans are planning to cause trouble in Watford. They have a 400 strong firm due to arrive with at least 4,000 other fans! I'm alerting all parents planning to bring kids PLEASE BE CAREFUL! Kids are still welcome in the One Crown however be aware that possible situations may occur that could be out of our control. I will be providing security in the pub but you guys still need to walk to the stadium. ANY of the 1881 or Watford fans that act aggressively to away fans or start playing up will be barred and reported to the police. We are a family friendly pub and intend to keep it that way. Any issues PM Tonya Coen Details on access to the pub will be posted Saturday morning so keep a look out. Stay safe guys and enjoy another Watford WIN!!! XXXX Watford forever!
I know that Leeds have more than their fair share of trouble makers but I've never known them to cause trouble in Watford before, I don't see why this match will be any different
They have released a few more Bournemouth tickets, there were 15 left when I got some half hour ago, it was sold out a few days ago.
A '400 strong firm'? I thought the 80s had ended. Although having visited Leeds on a number of occasions the locals still think it's the 1880s, let alone 1980s!
I think Guedioura must start, he's our squad number 17. Link for details... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35512785
Leeds take 400 lads everywhere they go, massive support. Town center will be livery but you will only get trouble if you're looking for it.
English, man, English! A medieval pageant? Or an offal butcher's convention? Or maybe some exuberant Nipponese visitors?
Popped into ticket office yesterday to get a concession ticket upgraded. Slightly baffled as to low take-up for Lids.
If i had to choose , i would pay to go to Bournemouth next week over the Leeds game, but i dont , so i`m not going to either Hope that helps
Oh dear, sorry about the spelling and you lost me with the rest of it. Would you like me to go and edit it?
"Watford forever" sounds like the sign-off message of Doughnut or someone else coming on here looking for a ticket.
It's a message from the landlady of the One Crown, just relaying a message all the town centre pubs have been given by the police.
