I'll be in Granada the weekend they play Valencia and I'd like to try and go. Has anyone had any joy in getting tickets? Do you have to be a member etc. Even using Google translate I'm struggling
Lived in Granada 15 years ago and there was never any problem getting tickets but they were in the regional divisions at the time! Had a quick look on their website for you and it suggests that the date of the match hasn't been confirmed yet (I presume something to do with TV coverage). It looks like they do sell tickets on a game by game basis but I can't find out how many they release for each game. I think it'll have to be a case of checking back every couple of days unless you get a more informed answer from one of the Granada fans on here. Here's the link direct to the page where hopefully you'll be able to get tickets: http://www.granadacf.es/es/entradas/primer-equipo/en-casa Have you been before? Great city, have been back several times since I left.
Thanks both. I saw the dates can change at shorter notice than here so will stay the Monday just in case. Good point about trying Roji directly!
Roji had been summoned! First of all, which match you refer?: We have a Cup match Granada - Valencia on January 14th (Thursday) and the league one its on February 20-21th. I will suppose you refer to the league one. Due to TV coverage, games aren't usually schedule until 4-5 weeks before the game, I guess it will be official by January 14-20th, I have no problem (if I remember) to write you the official date and hour once its announced. Its not likely to be on monday, monday game is the "free TV" one and it has to be for non europeans clubs, and Valencia played UCL this year, the monday game will be Celta - Eibar, Levante - Getafe or Betis - Sporting 99% sure. Buying ticket isn't a big deal, you usually have tickets (minimum 2.000 tickets if I remember good) you can buy right before the game in the stadium, you can also buy them some days before on the stadium or via web in the website Steve Leo Beleck gave you.
It was the one on 20th Feb. Thanks for explaining why some games are moved to the Monday. I'd prefer it not to be moved! I've always wanted to check out the Alhambra and thought I'd combine a visit there with a trip to see my Spanish team ;-) I hope February won't be as busy but that it will still be warm
It's looking like its best to get a cheap flight to Malaga and to get the bus from there. Also I've realised the only reason we aren't currently playing is because it's FA cup weekend so that could change...
Ooops, I missed this. Thanks for the confirmation - I'd been checking regularly on the site as well! I've had a look here http://granadaonline.es/static/GO_GestorServicioGenerico/*/futbol/ver/granada-valencia and it says tickets on sale but I can't find out how to buy them. Are they not on internet sale yet?
Tickets purchased for Sector A...Vamos Granada! So...are there any chants I should know? Hopefully I bring luck
Well, it's little bit hard making a quick spanish chants guide But if you have to know something, no doubt it has to be the hymn: (Don't worry, the lirycs are in the screen meanwhile it's being singed)
Well I'm in my seat. Got a picture with a picture of Iggy and Nyom. Saw the team bus arrive and a first glimpse of our 'new' players. Vamos Granada!
Granada defence seems determined to provide an assist...far too sloppy, look casual and relaxed which is in contrast with those around me.
Amazing that they lost that. Had 3 of the easiest chances at 1-0 and should have at least got a point. Reckon the manager will get the chop now.
I will go to Granada at the end of March. Unfortunately there are no Granada games during my stay there, but I have tickets for the Alhambra at least! Do you think that CF Granada will have another shirt sale this year? I woul quite like to buy a shirt.
You can find them in both official stores in Granada, but I don't know if there will be any sales in March... (1 in the stadium, another one near the center of the city). If you want to enjoy tapas (no other city in the world like Granada for that) I can give you some recommendations!
