Coloccini red and a Sunderland pen. This is fantastic, could do with a home win!

Difficult to pick the best outcome from that game really. Sunderland win and they've got that monkey off their back. Newcastle win and the gap to the bottom 3 is cut.

No, a draw doesn't suit either team. 1-1 plus lots of sendings off would suit us best. Although I don't know why any result should bother us - they're both dire.

Obviously a draw would have been best but given that Sunderland are absolutely dire and probably won't have such good luck for the rest of the season, a home win is fine by me.

What on earth was colocini thinking, but tbf cattermole should have been sent off at least by now, if not before.

No thanks I'd rather keep the 7 point gap. Sunderland have been atrocious even against ten men.

    Both sides reassuringly poor

7 point gap it is then. Nice.

Bournemouth 1-0 up inside a minute against Spuds.

EDIT: 1-1 on 8 mins. Boruc gives away a penalty.

You've only gone and jinxed it! Quick, do it again

Happy with the Sunderland win since it maintains our 7 point gap and they're so dire I don't see them picking up many points.

A loss today for Muff and they'll be right in the plucky relegation mire.

EDIT: and right as I type that last sentence, 2-1 Spurs. Lollers.

    Ahhh Boruc....comes up trumps again

    3-1 Spuds

3-1 now. I'm sure the Manager of the Millenniumhas a plan up his sleeve though.

    Hilarious!

And now the Spurs fans are taunting Muff fans by singing their stupid "we score when we want" song back at them.

Nearly another howler for Boruc - cleared a ball right into Dembele and was fortunate that the ball rebounded into his own hands. It could just as easily have been an Almunia.

4-1 Spuds....if only Bornmuff had gone for it.

    Sherwood gone from Vilia.

Don't think it will save them.

Newcastle were on top till the Sunderland pen and red card..

    Muff getting stuffed... again

The game has the air of a cup tie about it, everything about them is so tinpot

Muff have completely lost their belief. It's visible, like it was for us in both of our previous Prem campaigns.

Will be shocked if they stay up now - 10 goals and counting shipped in two games.

    EDIT: 11 now. :D

"Down with the Chelsea"...nice touch of humour from the Spud fans.

Even we haven't shipped 5 in consecutive games in the premier league. The omens for Bournemouth do not look good.

Wonderful entertainment, watching Bournemouth implode. I'm really hoping for double figures....

Their message board is great viewing too - "Much as it pains me, Watford are looking safe"

Was nearly 6-1, Spurs hit the woodwork with a lovely shot.

Unless Bournemouth bring in some extremely good players in January they are royally screwed.

certainly needs his long term injured players back , I think Muff will be splashing the cash in January.
I wonder if and when Ekstrand is fit whether he will be going out on loan as well .
