It's taken me well over an hour to read all of the above! Glad that even a few dead people with a little more info were wrong in some of their accusations. PO - I didn't take things personally, just thought you were evil. I was sure of it at one point in fact! Re the Guardian not being able to protect themselves, if it doesn't expressly state in the rules that they can't, then they CAN. I don't see why they shouldn't be able to anyhow. It would have helped me to have known before voting although I already had 2 votes against me on the day I was lynched and only needed 1 more. Ended up with all other players lynching me by the end. Yikes. I agree with what some others have said about being under the radar isn't really making the most of the game and if that's what it takes to win, I would rather have fun and be more involved then die/lose. It is a game after all. 352 - excellent game and although it would have been nice to have gotten to the very end and won just once, I was glad to last so long and enjoyed it all. Thanks again.
I think opti's mistake was killing Watford talk. WT was the only other viable candidate to lynch. Good have been very lucky. Firstly with the viewing of Cude on day 1 and then catching Sqiuibba on his first day as a wolf. Not to mention the two evil players killed in error by their colleagues (ahem). Lucky, lucky good.
Agreed - Opti should have come straight in on Friday and said HE was the guardian and he had protected himself previously even if it wasn't permitted. Tried to cause some doubt at least. May not have worked but worth a try. That said, I think he took the busy at work excuse and being inactive for so long too far if it was merely a cover for being evil. Poor Squibba was ridiculously unlucky!
So.... if you're SonofBen who would you go for? Is Opti the silent Wolf, or has Nairobi played a double bluff?
Why? Because they were 2 "confirmed" good players? But evil wouldn't have known sonofben was a mason.
352, now that the game can't be compromised, is it worth opening the tavern so we can all go hang out in there as the day ends?
I have really enjoyed being part of the game even if I couldn't participate as much as I would have liked. Thank you for letting me play... I have learnt a lot and can't wait till next summer Gary aka Merch
Hey guys what are doing in here in the cemetery, every one's down at The Tavern, 352 has invited us all to Optis lynching :drinking:
Well done Kieran. I have run a game in the past, but never to the standard you have done this time around and I appreciate the level of work involved. You are a very good moderator and an excellent writer of deaths.
Who you talking to Moog? 352's with everyone down the Tavern getting Pished Hic! :drinking: I've just popped back to pick up any stragglers, sod I'll leave a note instead of coming back all the time arty1: CEMETERY CLOSED EVERYONE'S DOWN THE TAVERN FOR OPTIS LYNCHING
Cheers mate. I really appreciate it. It's more work than I thought it was going to be, I have to admit. But on the whole it was an enjoyable and very interesting experience. Only one death scene to go now...
good game, thanks 352. im going to talk about some of the criticism my play style has received on here, mainly from squibba and phillipine orn. firstly I stayed under the radar, I posted anonymous messages everyday, I posted messages in the thread everyday, I made a kill every single night WITHOUT fail! I was constantly checking the thread, if there was no reason for me to get involved, WHY THE **** WOULD I??? team good were intent on pulling themselves to bits, and all they needed was a little bit of direction with the messages. I dislike the fact that I have been accused of NOT BEING WORTHY of getting to the last day. No offence meant here to either squibba or phillipine orn, but as far as I am aware neither of you have ever played as the alpha wolf, and its not an easy role that's for sure. They tend not to make it very far in the games. You can have a go at the way I played the game all you want, but at the end of the day no one in the game clocked onto it until the 2nd to last day. unfortunately I should have not have killed Watford talk but by that point I felt the game was up. As for you playing as a wolf squibba, when you become the wolf, you become part of team evil. 352 had no choice but to out you as the full moon wolf, after you needlessly spouted off about it in the daytime thread. I think had there still been doubts about your origin, evil would have won the game. I think this rule needs to be looked at next game. im sorry if this post comes across as angry, but im pretty ****ed off by some of the as I look at unfair criticism. It is a tactical game, if you don't like it that way, then simply don't play it.
You makes some good points Opti. My tactic was to appear to be "too" chatty to be evil and bang, killed by a wolf. The players who are looking for evil next time should start with the quiet ones and work up, but they never seem to latch on to that.
Certainly not going to get into a fight with you about it..if every special player kept quiet and only normal villagers spoke I don't think the game would be that great. Can't even remember criticising you actually - just the non-active players. Maybe your last bit of advice is the one I should take since it's meant to be a bit of fun above everything else.
personally opti I said it in the thread and ill say it again now, I thought you played an amazing game as an alpha to last so long and to keep suspicions at bay. Yes you were quiet sometimes but in my mind you posted enough to keep my suspicions away from you until the end. Also I am pleased I was right about Norway but a shame some hints sent me/us down the wrong track....
I'm lost for words here Opti. Personally you were shocking! It took you ages to die, and you were the last one in the Evil team to the Cemetery. I mean seriously? What took you so long? It was like watching Usain Bolt run a race against Peter Kay, that's how awful it was! The idea of Werewolf is to die first right?
Tbh Opti I believed your story as it was similar to my reason for being quiet... I had suspicions about Abso but only as he was let off one night for not posting and I read between the lines (wrongly) that he was let off because he was alpha wolf
Because if you were the alpha then Nairobi and others previously cleared would not definitely be good. Once you turned evil you joined our team, but it hardly felt that way. You were a reluctant wolf at best and on the day of your lynching have far too much away. 352 had no choice but to out you as the full moon wolf in your death scene.
Didn't make that much difference at all since Nairobi was only one previously cleared. Lame excuse. I easily could've been lying? 352 had choice, don't blame me for losing lol

What are you on about it made no difference!!! It made all the difference!!! I needed one more kill, Nairobi makes all the difference. The way you were going on in the thread and the tavern gave it away massively.
To be fair, once I knew squibba was the full moon wolf it made it easy to narrow down the choices as we also knew the guardian from working backwards on who he had saved and the last mason. The element of doubt would not have been in my mind but may have been in Sonofbens if we did not know Squibba was the full moon wolf come the last day
